Oh, I'm just waiting for another excuse to go there! 😄 Love, love, love the BBQ. We ordered the Korean BBQ, chicken bimbibap, lotus chips & fried Chicken. The best smoky sweet spicy marinated BBQ meat & juicy fried Chicken I've ever had. The prices are also very reasonable. Costed about $60/pp.

Might be the only kbbq in town and lucky for the locals... This place is a banger! Meat quality is fantastic, service even better. The Soju cocktails are tasty and leave you barely walking out. Bang for buck, this place is a must if you're in town.

We literally waited for almost an hour for the food and we wanted to cancel some 🥲 Normally, they open the grill if you order 2 meats (as mentioned on the menu) we only ordered one and expected it to be grilled. Since it was so busy that day, they just gave it to us and opened the grill. Some of the staff were friendly. Some of the staff forgot to give us the side dish. Overall, the service could have been better. The tempura, the starter came last.

This is our go to restaurant in Frankston, my 5th visit. 5 of us over 5 & half hours; 15 courses plus alcohol: $504 (though $200 of this was alcohol & you can eat for less than the $60 PP we spent as ours was a celebratory reunion: we didn't spare the expense).
THIS IS GOOD FOOD! There isn't anything I haven't tried on the menu and over 4 years this Korean BBQ style restaurant has proven to be consistently good 😋! Your dishes, cooked at your table, are typically similar to Japanese style in regards to portion sizes though in my opinion are broader in terms of taste range. The restaurant is both large and spacious and you'll need breadcrumbs to find your way back from the toilets 🚻 though all this makes for a fantastic place for groups; the atmosphere being conducive to talking across others without shouting. I, personally, wouldn't leave here without trying the various beef dishes and the seafood is equally delicious! On a previous occasion I've asked for what wasn't on the menu, though previously was and the staff were only too happy to accommodate me, providing the dish without any fuss whatsoever: that's rare! The more expensive beers (e.g. Corona, Peroni) are cheaper than pubs and the more readily available beers are comparably reasonably priced. Top shelf available and also reasonably priced. You customarily share dishes here and it's a great way to taste many dishes. Whilst the Geonbae is superb for groups it is equally ideal to take your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner for a more intimate encounter as there's suitable tables for such available. Simply, I can't fault the Geonbae. Delicious.
