Amazing food! The pho broth was so flavourful & the banana fritter was probably one of the best I’ve had so far! Love that they offer halal options too! Staff are very friendly! I am impressed by how professional the staff stayed even though there was an unpleasant & rude man that had to yell at the staff infront of everyone that was having a peaceful dinner because he was so impatient. Please ignore these rude customers because you guys are doing great! We will definitely be back again! 😊

The carpark had discarded furniture and lots of rubbish and for a moment I wanted to change restaurants fearing a bad experience, however I was pleasantly surprised once inside. Huge dining area, with a nice menu of Asian cuisine, we had the lamb ribs, crispy prawn rolls and soft shell crab salad. The ribs were tasty and well charred, lovely crispy prawn rolls, sadly the crab did not taste as fresh and was extremely salty, the salad was ordinary packed like with too much dressing.

We’ve ordered from this restaurant before and usually enjoy the food, but this time the experience was very disappointing due to the portion sizes.
The $28.50 Wagyu beef dish had an extremely low quantity — it was mostly cabbage with very little beef, which was quite depressing given the price. The $23 fried rice was the same story, with a portion that felt far too small for what was paid.
We had ordered this meal when friends came over for dinner, expecting it to be satisfying, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to even cover basic hunger. It was honestly embarrassing to serve such small portions to guests.
For the price point, the quantity really needs improvement. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.

Extremely Disappointing – Worst Char Kway Teow I’ve Ever Had
I came in with high expectations—hungry after the gym next door, and lured by strong online reviews. Char Kway Teow is one of my favorite dishes; I’ve had it hundreds of times across Melbourne and internationally. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst version I’ve ever had.
From the first bite, it was clear something was off. A scallop had a funky, off-putting taste—I had to spit it out. The squid was extremely chewy and stringy, clearly a low-quality frozen variety. Mussels came in two distinctly different colors (see photos), which was alarming, and I didn’t risk trying them. The tofu was flavorless and rubbery, while the prawns were rare but passable.
I ended up leaving all the seafood behind on the plate. I drowned the noodles in 10 spoons of chili trying to salvage some flavor, but it didn’t help. There was no fresh chili, no wok hei, and no real flavor—just an oddly sweet taste like the chef didn’t care.
To make matters worse, the noodles were wrong too—thin instead of the traditional flat rice noodles used in proper Char Kway Teow.
I left three-quarters of my meal behind. No one asked how my meal was. The restaurant was nearly empty, which in hindsight, makes sense.
I rarely leave reviews like this, but this was genuinely disappointing. I don’t understand the high ratings—it was a complete miss. I’d rather pay a little extra for some better quality seafood and better cooking techniques.
Why ask to reach out? The review was fair.

Absolutely loved our visit to Le Feu Vietnamese Restaurant! The food was not only adorable in presentation but also incredibly tasty. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated — it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in their work.
Special shout-out to Hernan, one of the staff members, who made our experience even more enjoyable. He was super friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service from start to finish.
Highly recommend Le Feu if you’re looking for a Vietnamese spot with charm, delicious food, and genuinely warm hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!
