This is a lovely little cafe we have been coming to of late. The food is fantastic - the burgers and steak sandwich are a generous size but the other meals can be smallish and a bit expensive so value for money is mixed depending what you order. The steak needed seasoning and not sure it was scotch but it was tender. If you’re not super hungry you could split the burger or steak sandwich. As someone else mentioned the burger takes some getting through but it’s delicious.
The coffee is great and service is speedy but as others have said, the staff are a bit rude (sorry!) and despite the sign saying there is table service, there isn’t.
I do find it a little pricey for a local cafe - options are in the $25-30 range, and would love some more options in the under $20 range such as toasties or focaccias for lunch. They do have some in the window but they are pre wrapped and limited in range. For my son and I to have the burger, steak sandwich and coffees it was about $80.
Try to get an indoor seat away from the door on cold days :)

I come here to meet up with my son for brunch. Ivr never been let down by the food or the coffee. Can get real busy and a bit noisy but we sit outside. I like having the little lake and the ducks. We always go for a short walk around the lake before heading off. Staff are excellent. Food is tasty and the servings are good.

Good coffee, but the two eggs Benedict were mediocre in the extreme. The ham was obviously supermarket loaf, the sourdough toast way too thin and came with a miserly amount of spinach. If you're going to charge that amount - do better.

Stopped here en route to Mulberry House. Inside seating plentiful but noisy. Dining within view of lake ducks was novel. Prompt table service. Food well presented and seasoned. Steak Sanger very fresh, albeit a tad rare. Risotto loaded with fresh mushrooms. A hidden gem worth the detour.

Loving the new vibe at Round About Café under its new ownership! Same Fresh food, coffee taste is great as usual, bubbly staff. Loving the new look with same cozy feeling. Excited to explore all the charming variations next time I stop by!
