This is hands down the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I was served a burger with a strand of hair almost as long as my arm in it. Absolutely disgusting.
What made it worse was the manager, Himel. His attitude was shockingly arrogant and unprofessional. When I showed him the hair, he reacted as if it was very normal or happens on a daily basis, instead of taking responsibility. That alone shows a complete lack of basic customer service skills.
I even tried to handle the situation discreetly so other customers wouldn’t be affected, but he insisted I speak in front of everyone. If this is the standard of management here, then serious customer service training is needed.

Quite good here! You could eat in or go across to Raines Reserve & eat there with the pigeons! Formerly the United Kingdom Hotel. Built 1937-38. Became McDonald's in 1988.

It is hailed as one of the most beautiful McDonald’s restaurants in the world, attracting many visitors who come especially to take photos and check in. Originally built between 1937 and 1938 as the United Kingdom Hotel, it was designed by James Hastie Wardrop in the Jazz Moderne (Art Deco Modernist) style, featuring curved parapets, rounded balconies, fine metal railings, and a layered façade—all of which remain well preserved.
This McDonald’s in Clifton Hill not only operates 24 hours a day but also stands as a well-preserved Jazz Moderne heritage building, often praised as “one of the most beautiful McDonald’s in the world.” Architecture enthusiasts and photography lovers should not miss it, while it also caters perfectly to anyone simply looking for convenient fast food.
If you plan to visit, it is recommended to go at dusk or in the evening to capture the most stunning atmosphere of the building.
