An aunt(friend's mum) from New Zealand visited us for a couple of days here in Melbourne. My husband I were looking for a place to take her for breakfast (she came early in the morning) near our place, and my husband's colleague recommended this place.
The vibe is really good because it's near a small lake (just in front/across the shop). Staffs are very friendly and the food is good. There's enough parking as well in the area.
If you're looking for a cafe with a view near Mill Park/Epping/South Morang, it's one of the good places you can go to.

Nice atmosphere with loads of indoor plants.
Friendly service from the staff.
Salmon bagel was a little dry.
Burger was really good and the onion rings were a nice touch. Good amount of chips and reasonably priced.
Food took a little long but I would still come back.

Disappointing experience. Food was just okay. Price isn’t the best. Asked for tomato sauce and did not inform us that there’s a charge. Overall not a place I’ll ever go back or recommend.

Food was nice. Got a side order of toast with peanut butter. So you get 2 slices with only 1 lousy packet of peanut butter.
1st waitress was good, 2nd one didn't know what day it was.
Hamburgers are served on a brioche bun.
Will these people never learn.
Overall, I still would go back. Just don't order the Hamburger.

this place is beautiful. we had brunch twice in this place and will definitely come back. we ordered eggs atlantic, rosti stack, hot drinks and they all taste delicious. price is reasonable. dog friendly place. it has a lake nearby where you can have a walk after a good meal in this place. we leave the place with a full stomach. highly recommended.
