Exquisite. Every dish was outstanding.
Sashimi Chazuke - the sashimi was ridiculously melts in your mouth tender.
Waygu don - tender, not overly sweet.
Lobster Udon - rich, umami and the lobster itself was cooked perfectly.
Macha - strong macha flavour (makes the rest of the Macha I've had in Sydney taste watered down...)

Good, if slightly over-hyped Japanese food.
Had the sudoku platter, the unagi don w/ spicy mayo sauce, “Wagyu” gyoza, and the salmon sashimi taco hand roll.
The Unagi don was excellent! Plenty of unagi and the kick of spicy mayo complimented the savory flavor of the fish splendidly. Delicious with rice. They let you choose from ~8 different sauces too, so there’s something for everyone.
The Sudoku Platter was great variety, if the individual pieces were a little underwhelming. Each piece had quite a bit more rice than fish, which kinda makes you feel you’re being shortchanged a little. Although considering it’s relatively lower price I guess that’s fair. The bigger issue is the fact that the sashimi wasn’t anything amazing. It was good, but not great.
The Wagyu gyoza was disappointing. It tasted like any normal gyoza, but priced higher because of the premium label. I’d skip this.
The taco handroll was the most interesting dish! The crunch of the crispy fried seaweed is a great addition to overall texture of the dish. I enjoyed the crispy crunch paired with the sticky rice and salmon. Definitely a must-try!
Came around 5:45 PM on a weekday and there wasn’t a queue yet.

The food was delicious. We ordered Ultimate Wagyu with Teriyaki sauce and blackpepper, sushi, dessert, black truffle ramen. The matcha tea was good for me. The black truffle ramen pretty good. The match desserts were yummy. The ice cold matcha with no sugar and no milk was so nice and free. The matha gelato with tiramisu was the best forr me.

Did I come here to eat or just to admire the food? Everything is just too cute! The flavours are on point, the atmosphere is lovely (even though I got a bit confused finding the entrance), and the food portions are adorably perfect. So cute!

I’m so blown away by this place.. who knew that a small entrance with bakery foods along one wall and ice creamery on the other side would lead to a waiting space and a cute wall-shop with Japanese goodies 🤩.. I had to wait for my table, for which I received a WhatsApp notification that it’s ready, but the hostess still called my name.. and wow the restaurant space is another world and it’s buzzing!! And you’re on the clock by the way, 1h30min to be precise.
It took me forever to decide because there are so many options!
My strawberry matcha latte arrived first and it’s such a delight - perfect balance of earthy matcha, milk and sweetness of strawberry coulis.
For the main I chose Premium Sashimi Chazuke - what a unique experience! The sashimi is of course incredibly fresh and the dish comes with a little kettle with a broth, with a little candle underneath to keep it warm. All flavours, textures and addition of the broth was exquisite. Instead of pouring all broth in after tasting sashimi I decided to just alternate between a spoon of sashimi/sauce/wasabi/a bit of rice and a spoon of rice/egg filled with broth. So good and super cute!
I could not leave without trying the dessert! The matcha crepe cake and hojicha ice cream were pure perfection 💫
PS. All staff were very helpful and lovely by the way!
