Amazing experience at Mazaj Lebanese Restaurant & Lounge in Forest Hill!
We tried a variety of dishes and every single one impressed us. The Yellow Rice with Chicken was beautifully seasoned — the chicken was tender and juicy, and the rice was fragrant and full of flavour.
The Fattoush was fresh and vibrant, with the perfect balance of crisp fried pita bread, vegetables and tangy dressing.
The Lahm Meshwe was a standout: grilled perfectly with a smoky aroma and incredibly tender lamb.
The Baba Ghanoush was creamy and rich with that classic smoky depth.
We also loved the Kibbeh Rahib Batnjan, a really unique dish with beautifully seasoned eggplant and the comforting spices of traditional kibbeh.
For dessert, definitely leave some room for the Baklava Ice Cream topped with fairy floss. This was the perfect finish — creamy, crunchy, sweet, and just a bit whimsical.
The service was also exceptional. Our server was absolutely wonderful — he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He checked in regularly, made great recommendations, kept topping our bottle of sparkling water (thank you) and he created a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. (Sorry I didn't get his name)

We recently visited Mazaj and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was inviting, and the food was delicious - a perfect blend of flavors that left us wanting more. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Our server, Jamal, was incredibly attentive and friendly. She made excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Jamal's warm and welcoming demeanor made our visit even more enjoyable for us. We highly recommend Mazaj, and be sure to ask for Jamal – she's a gem! We're already looking forward to our next visit.

But the real heart of Mazaj is the amazing staff. Jamal’s warm welcome, the lovely ladies’ attentive care, and Joe’s friendly energy make the whole dining experience feel extra special. They remember you, they check in with genuine interest, and they make you feel like you belong there.
