This kfc isn’t my local one but I make the 20 minute drive just for there fresh chicken and chips. All customer service workers and managers are extremely polite and the service is outstanding. If I could rate them 6 stars I would 🫶🏽

I went for drive through last night around 7:45pm we waiting a bit because the wicked wings we ordered needed time to cook a fresh batch which I was very happy to wait for
When I drove through again to pick up the order they told me they were fresh out of coleslaw which also is totally okay assuming they didn’t give it out to the people who ordered after I did but they offered to replace it with a different side or a drink, but then they tried to give me a small chips in place of the regular sized coleslaw which doesn’t match in price or compensate for the inconvenience of not having what I’ve already paid for…
I mentioned this and without a fuss they replaced it with a fresh large chips which I was grateful for
But when I got home and opened the box of 10 piece original chicken the colour and consistency of the batter was way off the usual freshness you expect to experience at KFC
It was much darker and oilier than any other KFC experience I’ve ever had
The oil they cooked the chicken in was clearly not fresh and required changing long before my order was served
As a family that loves our occasional KFC feed and count on the freshness of this particular branch’s food this was highly disappointing
And to realise only when I’ve gotten home and am in a situation that I’m not going to go all the way back for new food is highly frustrating
Don’t serve customers food that you wouldn’t want to be served…look at it!

Wow, I don’t usually leave reviews but KFC Burwood East honestly deserves it. From the moment I walked in, everything was spot on. Easily one of the best KFCs I’ve been to. The chicken was fresh, hot, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Cooked perfectly and not greasy. Chips were crunchy and seasoned just right. Staff were super friendly, served me fast, and made sure my order was correct. You can tell they actually care. The place was clean and well organised even during the dinner rush. No delays, no mess, just good energy. Food came out fast and accurate even though it was busy. Ordering is easy too with dine in, drive thru, pickup or delivery, and they’re open late which is perfect for late night cravings. KFC Burwood East just gets it right.

Bought 3 original chicken pieces today. The drum stick is so tiny and the other two fillers are smaller than normal ones.

The manager on duty, Taliya, was absolutely outstanding. She prepared my order in just 6-7 🙌 minutes and graciously accommodated my special request to unseason the meat, as my Caucasian palate prefers a milder flavor. Her attentiveness made my experience exceptional!
