We tried a croissant and a mixed berries Danish – both were excellent! The croissant had beautifully crisp layers on the outside and was moist and fragrant inside. The Danish was huge, with perfectly baked pastry and a light touch of cream that wasn’t overly sweet – just the way I like it. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again!

This is surely a hidden gem in Blackburn South! The pastries, sweets items are all very good quality and delicious, top level in taste and texture. I would highly recommend their danish, donuts, croissaints. Bread is also high quality, one of the best in eastern suburbs.
The reason I did not give a 5 star is the sausage rolls and pies are not great, I so wish they are good but sadly it's disapointig. the pastry is good again but the filling are dry and lacking in taste, please avoid or you will be disappointed like I did. I hope the owner will take this feedback and improve as I so want to like them.
The service is great, the decor in the shop is also clean and modern. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because the outdoor seating can be improved. Wish they have a courtyard at the back so I can bring my dog to enjoy their products.
Keep up the good work with the pastries and sweets, I will be back for sure, for the sweet items.

Love this cafe! I just got back from tasting croissants all over Europe and can honestly say that Chubby Marion bakes the best croissants in the world! Buttery, flakey, always freshly baked and if you time it right, deliciously warm straight from the oven. They are quite addictive! The staff are always friendly and the coffee is great too. It’s a wonderful hidden gem in Blackburn South.

Service was very good, they are super nice in there. They make really nice bread based products, and they're pizza is delicious. However, I got the lamb and potato pie and without exaggeration there was literally one piece of lamb in the whole pie the size of a 5 cent piece, and my dad said the beef pie was dry. Would definitely recommend this place just avoid the pies. Had to give this place 4 star just for the very bad pies.
