The Honey Thief is an absolute standout bakery. Their sourdough is exceptional, made with organic flour and crafted into a range of delicious varieties. The selection of pastries, sweets, and pies is impressive—and everything is freshly made each day. The staff are genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere has that warm, family-run feel that makes you want to return. Indoor seating is limited, but there are outdoor tables available, and service is always fast and efficient. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy quality coffee and a quick bite while supporting a great local business. Highly recommend—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great local bakery with a good range of sweet treats. Picked up a selection for a work team morning tea including flourless orange, cinnamon bronut (a giant donut that was super fluffy- not a brownie donut), chocolate brownie and apple crumble cake. Everything was delicious, very impressed. Will definitely be back next time to try other items!

Amazing bakery with the best sourdough and pastries in Melbourne. The bee sting and almond croissant are my favourites. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the vibe feels really homely. It does get busy at times, but totally worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Seemingly popular bakery, as there were lots of people coming & going. However I was very disappointed with what I bought. The escargot and muesli slice turned out to be extremely oily/greasey (see photos of the bag they were put in). And even sadder (for me!), was that the escargot had barely any sultanas in it (maybe 10 all up, if that!). They're the reason I like those scrolls so much, so having to scavenge for a sultana in a really oily pastry was a major let down. Especially after paying such high prices too. I ended up throwing away more than half because of the oiliness. Unfortunately cannot recommend.

I love the sourdough here, it’s some of the best I’ve had! The pastries and coffee are also excellent, and the staff are always friendly. A perfect local spot I keep coming back to.
