Down The Rabbit Hole Café – VIC We came from Perth and stopped here for breakfast before heading up to Mount Donna, and it was a great choice. The café has a cosy, quirky atmosphere with a fun “rabbit hole” theme that makes it memorable. The food was fresh and tasty, and the portion sizes were just right after a long morning on the road. Coffee was smooth and well-made, which we definitely appreciated before the drive. Service was friendly and the wait time was reasonable, even during the busy morning crowd. A couple of small touches could make the experience even better, but overall it was a lovely stop and well worth the visit. Would happily return next time we’re in Victoria!

Stopped here for breakfast after a walk nearby - super delicious food (we had breakfast boards) and well priced very tasty coffee with no surcharge for decaf. Friendly staff and quick service via QR codes on table - always like when there are pics of the food too. Inside was a bit too loud for us on a busy day (some soft furnishings might help) but the deck area out the back was lovely. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Every time we pass by this place it looks busy. Finally we dropped in to try it out. Good customer service, nice seating options. Coffee is good. The Hole Lotta Breakfast dish has a bit of everything, but, the tomatoes come cold rather than grilled. Poached eggs on a bed of kale is quite tasty, eggs were smaller than average. Both dishes left us feeling very thirsty afterwards, perhaps the spices they used.

They have a menu that covers all types of food allergies, first time they had heard of Canola/rapeseed oil one and without any hassles were able to prepare a meal for us. Very friendly and I even got a chance to talk to the cook and they understand the importance of checking every ingredient. It was a nice Cafe but noisy ,some people were using earbuds and headphones and doing a lunchtime work. So if your sensitive to noise use them as the food is worth it. Just seemed to work for some people and staff were able to still communicate with them easily. Grilled bread , butter, cheese and meat.

Definitely recommend this cafe, it’s amazing! The Reuben sandwiches are so tasty, and the waffles are rich, decadent, and perfect for sharing. The menu’s recommendation is spot on as they’re easily enough for two or even three. The cinnamon scroll “bronuts” and iced strawberry matcha are also delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!
