My favourite cafe lately. The formosa set is the perfect lunch set with just the right amount of carbs, veggies, protein, fat and sauce! Sauce was yum. I normally don't like fatty meat, but the braised pork rice bowl was actually really well balanced and the fat was rendered so well that I couldn't feel the fattiness while enjoying the meal. The side dishes are so delicious, kids were happily finishing their serving of vegetables without me nagging. Tried their peanut latte with and without caffeine. I preferred it dirty (with a shot of coffee). Staff were really nice and special to other cafes, food was really quick to be served too.

Visited: during a public holiday — very busy, full of people Service & Atmosphere: Despite being so crowded, the staff were impressive — efficient and attentive. They served our meals quickly, even though the café was bustling. What stood out most was their kindness and patience: our group of five stayed for a long discussion over coffee, and they gave us plenty of time and space to chat comfortably. To maintain that level of care during a busy holiday is remarkable. Food & Taste: The flavors were authentic — very true to Taiwanese cuisine. Everything we ordered tasted genuine, with good balance and quality. Coffee and dishes alike felt well-prepared and sincere. Highlights: • Excellent balance between being busy and still caring for each guest • Generous atmosphere: letting your group linger without pressure • Authentic Taiwanese taste • Fast kitchen service even under heavy load

The Formosa Set was enjoyable, but the Steak Sandwich was not. The flavours were fine, but the meat was so tough I couldn't finish it. Ended up getting coffee and a sweet treat elsewhere to fill my stomach. Atmosphere was lovely – nice covered courtyard at the back that is pet friendly.

One of my all time favourite cafes in Melbourne - its incredible. The staff are lovely, the courtyard has a gorgeous garden oasis feel and the food is just divine!!!! Their Taiwanese fusion menu with classic Melbourne go tos also makes for a unique while stll really well rounded menu. They nail their coffee every time too! Most recently, tried the salmon breakfast, beef udon soup and shokupan toast (original). Couldn't fault a single thing, perfectly cooked - balanced and full of amazing flavour. I always look forward to coming back :) ✨J brunch gal

We got a mocha, soy matcha latte, beef noods, the rice set and the popcorn chicken. Service was good. Staff very friendly and attentive. Drinks and food came out quickly. Rice set was super homey. Probably a bit on the pricey side for the quantity we received. Beef noods was a bit disappointing. Lacked flavour. All I could taste was soy and didn't even want to finish it. Also pricey. Both mains were ~$25 each. Popcorn chicken was tasty but wasn't crunchy. Both drinks weren't the worst but also weren't good enough to put them high on our list. Menu looked intriguing and wouldn't mind going back to try some of the other stuff. Would also be keen to try the outdoor area out the back next time on a nice and warm day.
