I had the best meal today — everything was so delicious! The nem nuong was the star of the show. It was so flavorful and perfectly made that I couldn’t stop eating! If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and good vibes, this is it. I seriously want everyone to come and try it. Trust me… once you taste it, you’ll understand why I’m obsessed. Let’s eat here together next time!

In love with the authentic and fusion taste of Vietnamese food of this restaurant. Without amiss, the spring rolls will always hit the spot whether you’re craving crunchy or chewy, each spring rolls will always remind you why it’s popular in the first place. My favorite will forever be the noodle soups, specifically the tom yum pho and the special beef pho. Each broth like drinking liquid gold, the care and detail the chef has put into making it consistently savory and aromatic can never be forgotten, you’ll need to come back for more.
The price may look intimidating( the quality of the food explains the price itself) but you’ll be worried whether or not you can finish the portion provided in each dish instead!

Food was average but we love premium wines in life. We ordered 3 bottles of wine for our dinner. First was year 2020, then moved to 2018 and then ordered 2017 wines from cheapest $60 to $75 for the four of us. Wrong bottle of wine 2023 delivered to us and the goring noodles and salad were too sweet and we didn’t event complaint. But rather I raised my feedback and their mistake to them first to the lady owner then to the male owner Mr Indochine. No acknowledgement from them or no emotion or comfort or concern from them for my friendly feedback. I was infuriated inside and confused what and where customer service was. I was the first time having Vietnamese food in Box Hill ( which I only go to St Albans, Footscray, Springvale for my Vietnamese fix, quality and service guaranteed). Two owners ignored my comments and feedback, WORSE was that they showed no emotion and spoke no words but to me and continued on with their errands as if nothing or no one spoke to them. I felt like as if had only ordered or spent $20 dollars set menu. Each wine was over $60 x3 plus 6 dishes hence the bill actually came to >$400 for 4 of us. Tell me if I was wrong in anyway. Thanks

We've been coming to this family owned restaurant for decades now, and the food is consistently excellent - worth a long drive for! Some of our favourites are the rice noodle salads (Bun), the Mongolian beef dish, the duck dish, the prawns, the calamari...to name but a few, and their sweet and sour pork is probably the best I've had anywhere, ever. Hoa is always friendly and welcoming, and the waiting staff are pleasant and helpful. The Vietnamese artwork on the walls is lovely. In my view, the current overall Google rating does not accurately reflect the quality of Indochine. Thank you to everyone at Indochine for maintaining this wonderful restaurant. Please keep up the good work!
Family Friendly

This place should be rated higher. The food was fantastic! Great prices and portions. Service was good, too.
You will spend about $35 per person BUT you will end up with with plenty of takeaway because the serving size is huge. Lasted us another meal.
