Son of Tucci Cafe Mount Waverley

Visited Son of Tucci Cafe this week - loved the surprise vibe inside because it is more vibrant than the plain exterior suggests. We had the pink beetroot latte and turmeric latte - each sip was pack with taste so we enjoyed it. My sister went for the waffle and I had my usual eggs (I ordered poached eggs but I happily accepted scrambled) on toast with add on grilled chicken breast. We were very happy at the end. She had soothed her morning sweet tooth with the waffle (with the lemon sorbet balancing it out), and I enjoyed my protein - packed breakfast! At the end, we were too full for dessert, but I am eager to try the dessert next time

Heard about Son of Tucci Café in Mount Waverley thanks to their rep for solid coffee and we were quickly enticed by the food too 👀☕️ Brought the little fam along on the weekend, it was buzzing in there! We ordered: 🍳 Spicy Scrambled Eggs 🥘 Shakshuka 🥗 Sous Vide Chicken & Papaya Salad ✨️ 💗 Pink Latte ☕️ Flat White ✨️ 👶🏼 Babychino The sous vide chicken & papaya salad was the standout for us, fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour. The other two dishes leaned a little sweet for our taste, but the coffee was strong and smooth, and that pink latte? A total looker. The team were super friendly too. ✨️ = highlights

Such a gem in Mount Waverley! 😋 The prawn pasta was incredibly tasty and full of flavor, the slow-cooked pork rice bowl was healthy and delicious, and the pink beetroot latte was so cute and surprisingly good! Cozy spot, great food, friendly vibes — definitely coming back!

Absolutely amazing brunch spot! The ricotta hotcakes were fluffy and not too sweet. The Atlantic salmon was fresh and beautifully seasoned. The spicy eggs added just the right kick to balance the meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Can’t wait to come back! Absolutely highly recommend!

This cafe has got it all right. The food is freshly made, delicious, interesting and beautifully presented; the service is top-notch - friendly waiters, and not too long a wait for our food, despite visiting in the middle of the lunchtime rush; nice vibe; good-sized serves; outside seating if you want; and good parking. I had a delicious healthy vegan bowl with quinoa; fresh, green al dente broccoli, kale, lots of vegies and other interesting additions like tiny pieces of dried dates, plus a poached egg cooked exactly the way I asked (medium firm). My sister had the salmon and a side of poached egg and smashed cauliflower. Both meals were very yummy. We'll definitely go there again!
