Stanley is located in a quiet street almost in the middle of Waverley Road and Ferntree Gully Road. A friend invited us for breakfast and we lived the vibe of the place.
Coffee is great. Chai (leaf tea) was okay. The Prana brand of tea seems to be better and has stronger aroma. The one at Stanley wasn't strong enough.
I ordered Salmon benny and loved it. It was not too strong for Salmon overpowering the taste, and was balanced with eggs and a softer sourdough underneath.
Big brekky on the other hand was okay-ish. The tomato got soggy by the time the dish reached us. I guess haloumi cheese is out of place here and you miss the lack of full size sausages and baked brand. Of course, rosti was amazing.
The brekky mushroom was dry and bland. The combination of toasted rye bread and mushrooms can work only if the taste is uplifted with either a sauce or extra hummus and feta improve the taste. It seemed that the focus was more on presentation, which was absolutely fantastic - full marks, than on taste.
Overall, not too bad and will try again.

Beautiful hidden gem in Mount Waverley!
The food is delicious loved the Salmon Benny, Caramel French Toast, and their juicy Wagyu Beef Burger.
Drinks were great too, especially the Nutella Milkshake.
Cozy café with friendly service and lovely vibes. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful breakfast at Stanley, Mount Waverley. We tried the veggie wrap, veggie burger, and the halloumi toastie — all freshly prepared and full of flavour.
Special thanks to Chef Nikhil, whose passion truly reflects in the taste and presentation of every dish.
The highlight for me was the caramel French toast — absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. Everything we tried was delightful, and you could really feel the care put into each plate.
Highly recommend this place for a relaxed, satisfying breakfast. Will definitely be back! ☕✨

Cute little hidden spot in mount waverley. They offer a good range of different dishes on their brunch menu and drinks menu - good little catch up spot with a group of friends over a good drink (they also offer alcoholic options)
I really enjoyed the tacos and steak sandwich!

A nice hidden cafe aptly named on Stanley avenue. Quite busy with locals and being near scotchsmans running track, helps too probably.
Friendly and helpful staff with indoor and outdoor seating.
Went in for brunch and having booked in we got out seats right away.
Food was delicious and came through without delay. Was able to enjoy the street view and the pleasant weather. The cafes decorated quite nicely and service was excellent.
