I used to enjoy coming here, but recent experiences have changed that.
On a previous visit, an older, plus size Chinese female staff member took my order for cake and then went on break without informing anyone. I waited around 45 minutes and eventually left without receiving my order or an apology.
Today, I had another negative interaction with the same staff member when she slammed a takeaway bag on the counter after I politely asked for one.

Plenty of bread and brekkie choices. Great atmosphere! The lady with the glasses immediately greeted me when I walked in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Extremely suitable for those who have rushed mornings.

So we bought a 6 inch cake pre-made at the store in Tuesday not long ago, was served by the owner/manager with good service, so we went back in two days ordering this unicorn cake my little daughter wishing for. Upon picking up today, the girl staff and a lady staff with glasses was at the front, chatting quite happily, so we went up and said we were to pick up the cake. The lady staff with glasses, side eyed, leaning on the counter, served us like criminals, and smashed the whole box next to the till like how she would love to do with their breads. My wife was upset, my daughter cried, now we have to change to another cake. Upon changing, the other girl staff still saying it might be the factory delivered damage, which I wouldn’t believe so. As a food retailer store manager as I’m I simply won’t employ staff like that lady with glasses, as this will only hurt the business further. And to the Lady staff: wishing your family getting treated the same way you treat others.

I visited this store recently and purchased three pork floss rolls along with a pizza item. As I was passing the tray to the two women at the till, I noticed the younger staff member whispered something to her colleague in another language, and they both began to giggle while looking at our food.
Even my 9-year-old son noticed the exchange and asked me in the car why they were laughing at our tray. He felt sad and judged by their behavior.
This experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively, as all customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of what they choose to purchase.

The food is great but the two asian women there with the glasses, are extremely rude, extremely rude! Bad behaviour! Earlier there were a couple who used to come in the evenings! So nice and friendly! These women who are usually there these days have no etiquette! They are always this rude!
