Settlers Run Golf Course is a well laid out. I was left with a great impression as this my first time playing Settlers Run Golf Course.
The Proshop staff were very good helpful and friendly. They assisted me in a kind and nice way, in that I was not able to use my FG voucher due to booking out of time bracket. Yet they explained that I could receive a discounted green fee. The interaction was what made my day before I began my round. 👏👏👏
We teed off the 10th hole and the back 9 was probably the more difficult of the two nine holes. The front 9 had a few more drivable par 4 for those who are willing to risk it for the reward of a good tee shot.
The course was in very good condition. The fairways are tight Santa Ana grass, the ground staff did a great job with maintaining the fairways with minimal winter grass growing through, so every shot made was just pure to hit off.
As a former greenskeeper I just loved how the greens are mown by the walk behind mowers, which cut tighter and rolls the greens at the same time. And the greens were rolling pure and the undulations made it really tricky to judge speed and break. But when you hit the putt you know if it's in or just missing 😯😯.
The undulating and tight course with strategically positioned bunkers just make you think before been aggressive on the hole. I loved how you have to think your way around this beautiful course. It's tough and very challenging yet rewards good shots. As the greens are very receptive and will let a good golfer to spin the ball or stop it on a 10cent piece.
If you're down Cranbourne way, I do recommend this great Greg Norman designed course.👏👏👏 I will be back for another game her for sure. 😁😁😁
The facilities are great and clean, but be mindful that the bar and restaurant is not open Mondays for food, in saying that the proshop does have drinks and food too.

A Beautiful Baby Shower Experience at Settlers Run
We recently hosted my daughter’s baby shower at Settlers Run Golf & Country Club, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The venue was absolutely exceptional — elegant, spacious, and surrounded by stunning views that added a special charm to the day.
A heartfelt thank you to Melanie and Victoria, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made the entire experience seamless and truly memorable. From the planning stages to the final touches, they were attentive, accommodating, and incredibly supportive.
Our guests were impressed, and my daughter was overjoyed. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories — thanks to the wonderful team and setting at Settlers Run.

Settlers Run - where do we begin! Thank you so very much to the entire team, but especially Mel (Club Operations Sales Manager) and Chloe (golf-buggie extraordinaire) for their wonderful work and support leading up to and including on our wedding day. All of our guests, and we mean literally every single one, adored the venue. Choosing a cocktail package meant that our guests could mingle, sit comfortably if they wished, or rock out on the dancefloor beside us. Our food was outstanding and the service from all staff was incredible. Thank you for hosting our wedding - you will forever have a special place in our hearts!

Played 3 times now. Greens were most pure the first time, back in the middle of winter. Course is in good condition overall. Well maintained, though the greens felt slower each time I went back.
