Thank God for Dukes. One of the OG of Melbourne coffee scene, and they havent missed a beat. If anything, as per my last visit today, it has gotten better. Service was warm, knowledgeable and friendly where we had a short convo about their selection of coffees. Ambiance was cosy and packed; and naturally, our magik and filter coffee was brewed to perfection. Keep going, Dukes.

Good vibe and nice taste, maybe is the best cafe I've tried in Melbourne. The coffee bean is very balanced. Busy but not crowded, the only flaw is their seats are limited, I waited five minutes to find a seat after I got the coffee. I'd Love to come here for twice!!

Small cafe with decent coffee, seats are limited. Croissants were okay, nothing spectacular. It can get loud and busy. Average price for what they offer. Not sure if I’d recommend it for a dine in.

Visited in Nov 2025 Trying out Dukes Coffee Roasters had been on my list of things to do in MEL for a long time and I finally got the chance to visit this cafe during my recent trip to the city. My friends and I tried 3 of their filter coffees. Every coffee we had was really good. Our unanimous favourite was the Columbia Duberney Cifuentes Gesha and I’d definitely recommend folks to try it. Also tried a couple of food items from their bakery which were quite nice too. I really liked their tea cake. This place is super popular with crowds streaming in and out, and therefore there is a good chance you may not get a seat inside. Saw most people just do takeaways. In summary, a great coffee place which you should 100% visit if you’re in MEL CBD area.

Great coffee with sweet, acidic, and complex notes - easily one of the best in the city. Long black here is delicious. Nice vibes and a professional setup, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a cup. Good selection of pastries to accompany the coffee, rounding out the experience perfectly.
