Lee was a great bartender. He helped me choose a wine that I would like. He went through the different wines and the different flavours they give. He was welcoming, warm and very knowledgeable. The food was beautiful with a wide variety menu. Atmosphere was lovely. You have the dinning area for a more intimate experience or the outside area which has shade heaters/fans for anyone wanting to sit outside to eat and drink. I would highly recommend the ball court for a fun and enjoyable experience.

We love it here! The Ball Court Hotel in Sunbury offers a classic Aussie pub experience with a warm, welcoming vibe. The venue is quite large, but cozy at the same time, offering different seating options and rooms to suit everyone. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu leans into hearty pub fare; steaks, pies, parmas, and they offer vegetarian options that are equally as delicious. They have a nice selection of cold craft beers, wine and cocktails.

So nice to see an update to this classic pub. The Barramundi was absolutely delicious. Was busy and a little loud but still able to have a conversation. Limited dessert options were a bit disappointing, stick to the mains.

Went for dinner on a Friday night. Made the mistake of going at the end of year before Xmas so forgot there would be heaps of people celebrating Xmas parties. Upon arrival there was a large group sitting out the front drinking and smoking. I understand venues have no smoking inside but it’s not very pleasant to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in the door. Not sure why there isn’t any seating out the front for people to enjoy their drink and smoke away from the doors.
Booked a table in the outdoor playground area and was pleasantly impressed with the playground. Only advice would be for parents to ACTUALLY supervise their kids in the area like the sign says as kids can be kids and not take care around littler ones. I don’t want to have to discipline someone else’s child because my 12 month old was on the small slide and your child pushes my kid down.
Food was fantastic, but pricey, but still a good feed. Overall had a great night.

This rating is for Christmas lunch 2025. Excellent food provided, plenty of it, great range. Christmas crackers. Seafood entrees, 2 meats and great vegies with a twist and pudding and finally a cheese platter. Really well timed and organised and the staff were so friendly, cheerful and helpful.
