Let me start with the highlights- the paneer dosa was amazing! It's genuinely the best I've tasted. We also got vada and cheese dosa, which while not amazing like the paneer dosa were also pretty good. One odd thing is that they were serving what tasted like moong daal instead of sambar- it even had a piece of broccoli inside it. Unfortunately the highlights end there. To start, we had to wait 60 minutes for a seat: the restaurant was packed. Only once we sat down were we informed that the Baby Corn Spicy dish as well as the paneer noodles, Belgian dosa, Gobi 65 and almost every other dish was sold out. While this is understandable given how busy it was, it's ridiculous we were only told an hour in. The poor service continued - they missed an entire dosa and when we asked for its whereabouts, we were told that they'd finished making food. I want to point out that this isn't the waiters or waitresses' fault (who were mostly excellent), but the fault of terrible management and communication issues amongst the restaurant staff. Some minor things I want to point out as well. - phone system wasn't working, so we couldn't book beforehand. - the atmosphere could have been great had they not had 50 or so people all pressed against each other like sardines. They should let less people in at a time In the end I left feeling mixed and still hungry. What little food we had was mostly great, but absolutely absurd service let it down. My recommendation would be to go after peak hours.

Had a wonderful experience at Adyar Ananda Bhavan – Clyde branch. A special shout-out to Harman and Preet, who provided exceptional customer service β€” they were polite, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The meals here are a must-try, especially the paruppu keerai β€” absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. Everything was well presented and very satisfying. Great food combined with excellent service made this visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommended! 😊

Good south Indian food. Is it overpriced compared to the quantity?. If you order one item per person, its not going to fill your tummy. Fried rice was too smokey. And the biggest part is the quality control needs to make sure that they are not serving pieces of plates in food. Always busy and you may need to wait for sometime to get a seat.

Personally we didnt have the best experience. We chose the afternoon lunch as the last time we visited was for dinner and there was a huge line but gave up after waiting 20+mins.... they failed us again so read on. Firstly we didnt get a welcoming feel, for starts we reached and asked for a table for 4 and was asked to wait, that's ok based if they were busy but the funny part they were not and followed in was a party of 5 that came after us (who also didn't have an appointment) was served with a table. We were then after asking given a table that wasn't clean. Now to the food, it might have been over expectations but their so called mini thali meals could be classed a kids meal as it lacked quantity and both taste as well-unsure how its priced at $25~/plate-see pic.. We also ordered masala dosa and the masala was only filled with turmeric and lacked sessoning(felt like we were BP patients) The only dish that was just ok was the Gobi Manchurian but that was also overpowering with raw onions and excessive garlic. We lastly ordered filter coffee and gave up as we didn't get it for over 20mins. My daughter got her mango lassi but it tasted off.. No empathy shown by the staff as it was simply evident and would prefer dishing out my money elsewhere. I'm unsure if they were understaffed or was it the norm but would sum it up in one line... ".... totally overrated and overpriced"

I recently visited A2B Restaurant in Clyde North for dinner. The place was fully booked, so we waited around 10–15 minutes to get a table. The atmosphere was lively, though a bit loud due to music and the crowd. The staff were very polite and cooperative, and the menu had plenty of options to choose from. We placed our order, and while a few items took some time to arrive, it’s understandable given how busy the restaurant was. The food overall tasted good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. One thing worth highlighting is that their South Indian dishes are exceptional β€” definitely among the best in the area. However, when it comes to North Indian food, there’s some room for improvement. In particular, the naan was not properly cooked, which I’ve noticed in my last two visits, and a few vegetarian dishes tasted quite similar to each other. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I’d rate it 4 stars and recommend it as one of the better places to enjoy Indian cuisine in Clyde North.
