We took my mother in law to lunch today & it was a huge surprise to have a fabulous meal & a totally brilliant waiter!

This was our 3rd visit & I must say it was the most memorable yet!!
The experience is rare to find in the outa suburbs, which we live in, so we will be back!

We have been loyal customer at Castellos Croydon for years, but I need to say that the staff in your pokies area are absolutely shocking with their customer service. I went there on Monday this week and an older blonde lady with a tatoo on her arm opened up. She never greeted us as we walked in and I have dealt with her arrogant attitude now for months. She has no personality and to be honest , even your younger staff need a lot to be desired. I was there a few weeks ago and overheard a young lady talk very loudly to other staff members about her personal life. She then allowed her young daughter to enter the pokies area and chatted to her for some time. This is totally not acceptable given her daughter was under 18. Honestly, your staff need to understand that if they work in this field, they need to be happy and smile and make you feel comfortable. Even asking for a coffee you get daggers. The staff glare at you and NEVER greet you with a smile, especially the older blonde lady.
I used to love coming there for tea as did my husband, but it now is a place I really dont feel comfortable, especially the pokies area. You need to teach your staff communication skills and how to greet people with a smile. Don't work in this industry if you haven't got the personality.
You really need to take a page out of the Royal Hotel ferntree gully . They treat their customers with the most beautiful smiles and nothing is a problem. They even go around asking if they can make anyone coffees etc. What a breath of fresh air. Castellos is disgusting, especially the pokie staff. You dont deserve to be in the customer service area. Perhaps away from the public eye would be better. Wake up before you lose more customers.

My fish was good, area is big and open. All day dining on the weekend is good.
