I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, thanks to the fantastic staff member. The highlight was when my friend requested to combine our tables into one long table, and the staff made it happen smoothly. They had to cancel our original order for the separate tables, but when the staff retook our order, she didn't just ask; she politely confirmed what we wanted. I was impressed by how well she remembered each person's order. The food presentation was excellent, and all the staff members were very friendly and respectful. I hope the restaurant manager recognises the hard work of this team member. We were delighted with the service and will definitely recommend this place to our friends. We will definitely be coming back.

The food here was delicious and the atmosphere was super nice. Very spacious but lacking decor in the dining area. The toilets were dirty, there were 3 bins full of tissue paper, used pad on the floor. The menus had grime on them. Don’t order cocktails, they don’t fill the glasses and are 90% ice, alcohol measurements aren’t consistent between drinks. Staff were absolutely lovely and accomodating 😊

My daughter and I visited the café on Sunday around 11am for breakfast. Parking was a challenge, though that’s no fault of the venue. The café occupies the old Jewel Supermarket site (yes, showing my age here), so the space is impressively large and open. We sat inside but asked to move due to the sun streaming in—again, not the café’s doing. Staff were accommodating and helped us relocate without issue. We ended up on the north side, where I couldn’t help but notice a dirty window and a few dead flies on the ledge. If I were running a food establishment, I’d make sure those details were pristine. Service was brisk but not rushed. Our waiter was friendly, though her English was limited, which may explain what happened next. I ordered poached eggs on multigrain (specifically not sourdough), with Hollandaise and smoked salmon. My daughter chose the Pulled Pork Benedict, which includes slow-cooked pulled pork, crispy hash brown, two poached eggs, Hollandaise, and apple slaw. I had a mug of extra-hot latte, and she opted for the pink grapefruit lemonade. Drinks were ok but latte not extra hot. However, our meals arrived with the breads swapped: mine on sourdough, hers on multigrain. I also had to ask about the missing hash brown in her dish, only to be told it was “on the bottom.” It wasn’t. I mentioned it again at the register, but there was no acknowledgment, no apology, and no gesture of goodwill— not even a small discount. It’s not about the money; a simple recognition of the oversight would’ve gone a long way. My smoked salmon was ok but had strange aftertaste. $54 - that's an ok price, but we won't return. I note there are plenty of other good reviews, this was just our experience on the day.

We were looking forward to try out O'ra Dora due to the good reviews, we've ordered a few vegan and non-vegan dishes, we thought the foods were pretty average and really lacking flavour, but the wedges was delicious, it was a standout dish out of all.

First time visiting Ora D’ora in Croydon, food was very nice good sized portions enough to fill the belly, but not too much you can’t eat. Lamb shanks cooked perfectly with the veggies cooked just right. Service was really good the waitresses were very polite, definitely coming back.
