We came here for lunch and were genuinely impressed. The food is delicious and incredibly fresh. The restaurant mainly serves Northeastern Chinese cuisine, but also offers some Sichuan and Cantonese dishes. Unlike many overseas Chinese restaurants that rely heavily on pre-made sauces, the flavors here taste much more like dishes prepared with seasonings added thoughtfully during cooking — just like back home. I was pleasantly surprised to find the authentic flavors I’ve been missing.
The prices are fair, the portions are generous, and the environment is comfortable. If you’re craving real, homestyle Chinese food, this place is a must-visit.

Went out with family for dinner here and I won’t be back. The chicken and prawn dumplings were good and that’s where the good ends. The peppercorn chicken was full of bones and barely any chicken on them at all. May as well of ordered a bag of bones. For around $25 it was very disappointing to pay for bones and no meat. The calamari was as tough as an old leather boot and chewy and I don’t actually know if it was real calamari or some processed offal from assorted fish left overs. Again paid around $25 for this dish or maybe more. The special fried rice was bland and had minimal vegetables in it and was like eating clag. There was nothing fried about this fried rice and was likley microwaved. None of it was photo worthy so I didn’t take any photos.
Complained to counter about the peppercorn chicken being too boney and not having enough chicken and the lady just stuck her out hand for our money and didn’t seem to care.
Over priced for what they are serving up and glad I have the option to not return. $134 for 3 people is well overpriced for woeful unfried rice, a plate of bones, offal calamari and a serve of dumplings.
Family Friendly

Ordered the sweet sour chicken and it looked good BUT had tonnes of flour and not much chicken.

We had such a great meal at Yang's place tonight. We ordered the stewed pork ribs with pumpkin, potatoes, beans and corn, and the pan fried dumplings.
The stew was so flavoursome with a very slight hint of star anise. Pork ribs were tender, the pumpkin, potatoes, beans and corn goes so well together in the sauce. The pork dumplings looks handmade and was perfectly pan fried. We were so engrossed with enjoying the stew that we forgot to take a photo of the dumplings 🤣
It's conveniently located just across from Ringwood East station and have ample parking around the vicinity. The restaurant is clean, spacious and beautifully renovated.
Can't wait to go back to try a new dish!
