Ive been coming to this establishment for the last 3 years and have never had any problems with it. The $3 tacos have always been my go to meal; cheap, delicious and overall bang for your buck. However, when I showed up after a long walk around Eastland, stomach growling, feining for a delightful $3 taco, I was met with a rude shock. After waiting for my meal to be prepared (which took longer than normal by the way) I sat down ready to indulge in what I had expected to be an enchanting combination of salad cheese and mildly spicy ground beef, only to my great displeasure to find my taco practically empty. The meal I had grown to love was minuscule compared to its prior variants. As I sat there stunned at the pathetic waste of a banquet, I contemplated my options, I could sit like a good boy and eat my serving or I could complain and receive a proper portion. I took the latter option, approaching the kind lady at the front. No explanation was required, as upon showing her the heretical taco she understood what I had come to inquire. She quickly took the tacos and returned them with a warm smile. My hope was high, my problems fixed. Or so I thought… immediately after getting my refilled meal, I sat, face gleaming with excitement only to open to the single most infuriating and depressing sight. My refilled taco was refilled with only salad. The same slither of mild ground beef that was there before, no more. Did they mistake me for a vegan?! That’s my only explanation for the indeficiency of meats. I’m hurt and upset. I am a loyal costumer who for 3 years has had no issues. This matter has left me heartbroken, I doubt I can ever return to the same level of trust of respect I had for this establishment. If you are eating here, be carful.

The food here is so inconsistent. On some days the portions are tiny. On some days they forget to add ingredients. Had takeaway today and it did not have any pico de galo and had the tiniest sprinkle of cheese. I had a very simple order of one bowl with no alternations and they still managed to get that wrong.

Terrible experience as always at GYG Eastland. Tiny portions, long wait times and rude staff. I had to wait 20 minutes AFTER my order said it was ready on the app despite there being few customers. This was at 9:30pm when the rest of the stores in the shopping centre had closed. When I finally received my order, I checked to make sure everything was in there and noticed there was no seasoning on my chips, when I asked for extra salt he talked back to me under his breath, then proceeded to repackage the same chips, pretending he had given me new ones. You tell me if this looks like it’s been seasoned properly. They were cold, soggy and tasteless. I called the store twice to ask for a refund, no one bothered to pick up the phone. I placed a ticket through GYG support, no response. What a ripoff. Don’t waste your money here.

I had the most horrible experience today at GG, I drove to eastland and ordered a slow cooked burrito in a large meal and 2 sets of churros, take away. I drove back home, got changed in my pj's, unpacked my dinner only to find out I got a wrap full of rice. There was literally nothing other than plain rice wrapped in a tortilla. How on earth, did someone wrapped plain rice and thought that was okay..... honestly it's the worse experience I've ever had when ordering take away. I have tried calling the eastland store multiple times, with no response. Very very disappointing.
