We were served by the delightful Mariah, and cannot praise the service highly enough. Mariah was friendly, genuine, respectful, knowledgeable, and a huge asset to establishment. Food was enjoyable. It's not the place to go if you are looking to dine with quiet ambience, but hey, it's The Sporting Globe.

I usually only go to Sporting Globe as a treat, as it is a bit on the expensive side, and I was absolutely glad I did last night. Do I have any interest in sport? Absolutely not. But the food is unbeatable.
My boyfriend said his cheeseburger parma was a bit much on the flavour side so I will say that could’ve been improved as well as a bit more cheese on my ‘cheesy’ cobb loaf, but I have to rate them 5 stars for their amazing service and above all else, one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. I got the porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce, it was cooked perfectly to my liking and seasoned to perfection aswell. It has been 24 hours and it is still on my mind, it was so good. Thank you Sporting Globe for a great night.

Great, huge venue, but you can choose the atmosphere you any, quieter dinner for 2, pub meal with great music or beer garden with the crew, even the private function rooms!
Love coming here and will be back very soon!

We had such a positive experience at sporting globe! Mariah served me and my family throughout the night and was extremely kind. She made sure we all good through out the night and helped us make choice on food. As usual the food was amazing and a great way to end the night!

My wife and I absolutely love this place. The staff are always legends, the food is spot on (never a bad meal), and the atmosphere is perfect, especially when the UFC is on or the footy's playing.
Now, for my one tiny grievance... the clear and tragic bias towards AFL.
I get it, we're in Victoria, and you have to cater to the majority. You probably don't want a riot on your hands, and messing with a Victorian's right to watch AFL seems... well, dangerous. I'm pretty sure it's a cult.
But it must be said: NRL is the superior game, and seeing it relegated to the smaller screen breaks my heart just a little bit every time.
Still, we'll keep coming back. Despite this glaring character flaw, the place never disappoints!
