Kuzina

I was here for a function at Kuzina and the service was very professional. The staff were prompt with drinks and were consistently attentive, which made the night run smoothly. The food was some of the most authentic Greek food I have had in Melbourne. It was not the best I have tried but it was still very good. We started with bread and four dips. The tzatziki was easily the best one for me, followed by the hummus, the pink dip and the eggplant dip. The saganaki tasted good but was way too salty for my liking. The seafood dishes were fresh. The whitebait was delicious and the calamari was solid. There were also small fried rice balls that paired well with the tzatziki. Pretty standard tasting but good overall. For the mains, the meat platter was huge. Most of the meats were on the fattier side and I personally prefer more meat than fat, but everything was cooked very well. The flavours blended nicely and nothing was dry. There were two types of sausages, one that tasted like a duck style sausage and the other a regular pork sausage. The chicken was really good and the lamb was very juicy. The Greek desserts were enjoyable and the Greek coffee at the end was a nice way to finish the meal. Overall a solid experience with good food, strong service and a traditional feel.

Pleasant with and delicious Greek food, though lamb a bit tough with some gristle - lovely friendly and attentive staff, though little or no personal experience of food to make personal recommendations. All good enough to try again. .

I can’t speak highly enough of Kuzina, a gem in Eltham that serves honest, flavour-first Greek food with real heart ❤️. From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcome. The Gyro plate is one of the most delicious gyro plates I’ve ever tested in Melbourne, tender, smoky, and perfectly paired with creamy tzatziki and crisp salad. Portions are generous, the flavours feel authentic, and it’s exactly the kind of place you bring friends and family for a satisfying, no-fuss meal. Five stars. I’ll be back

We had driven down Main Rd Eltham, many, many times. A couple of weeks ago, coming back from Diamond Creek, discussing whether to eat in or dine out, we noticed a building which we had not noticed before, white brick, black trim, lovely gardens. I said, “ hey that’s new, looks beautiful”. It’s a Greek restaurant. That sealed the deal, we were eating out. We made a booking for 7pm. From the moment we walked in the door, the wonderful staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. 10 mins in, drinks on the table and discussing menu with our waiter. Food ordered, we then had the great pleasure of meeting the owner who took the time not just to chit chat, to engage with us as as he did with all other patrons and did so subtly throughout the night. Food was fantastic, beautifully prepared, cooked and presented. Octopus to start, lamb cutlets, prawns as main, Greek donuts and Greek coffee to finish. In one word OUTSTANDING! Thank you 🙏

This is the second time we have eaten at Kuzina. Everyone was so lovely with such a homely atmosphere. The food was DELICIOUS, staff were so friendly and polite. Ann-Marie was on the ball and constantly checking to see if everything was okay at our table. Will be back with the family soon. Keep up the amazing job ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
