Had the Miso Salmon and wow — it was seriously good. The salmon was super tender and full of flavour, and that crispy mushroom risotto block underneath was such a nice surprise. Loved the mix of textures, and the smoked egg with the wasabi mayo just brought everything together. The fresh herb salad and yuzu dressing gave it a nice kick and kept it all really light. So well-balanced and just a really satisfying dish. Would 100% order it again!

I judge a cafe by its poached eggs and y’all got it RIGHT! ! !
As a new resident at point cook, I was honestly a bit underwhelmed by the cafe selection here (don’t hate me, I came from Brunswick) but Bean Smugglers blew me away.
I walked in with zero expectations and walked out with a huge smile on my face.
Starting with coffee, we tried latte and matcha. I especially enjoyed matcha as it was not too sweet and I can actually taste the tea, so they do know what they’re doing. Then they have a decent selection of brunch options, which I believe is reasonably priced for the quality. And the word “quality” is the key here, portion sizes are not huge but they are good quality. I especially loved the poached eggs. The wedges they serve here is also really nice and well seasoned. One thing that didn’t quite hit the mark was the chicken, which was quite dry 😔
Staff is very welcoming and pleasant with good hospitality skills.
I will definitely return and also recommend to my friends.

Had a healthy breakfast choice. Excellent and filling. Coffee was perfect and just the right temperature and strength. Staff friendly, pets (dogs very welcomed). Staff was concerned about cleaning the tables. A couple of fans to blow some air would be perfect to have a more comfortable outdoor seating space.

Bean Smuggler Coffee Shop is one of the best in the west! The coffee is amazing, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax. They offer great healthy breakfast options, and it’s pet-friendly too. Plenty of parking makes it super convenient, and the customer service is top-notch. A must-try for anyone who loves great coffee!
