What the hell has happened to the NZ style steak & cheese pies here? Pies are absolutely shit now? The pastry is hard, and cheap flour ingredients. Pies were like they were 2 days old!. Pie is only half full of filling, Im really blown away by the low standard. You guys have not just dropped the ball, you have lost it. I have tasted better Mrs mac pies from the supermarket, and thats saying a lot about your standard What use to be the best local place for pies, is now the worst! SAD!

I love this place. I bought donuts and mocha used coffee. My kids love donuts and iced coffee. Shop is very clean and well organised. Staff is very friendly and welcomed with smile. Both girls at the counter were very nice and well mannered. I would recommend this shop for fresh donuts and freshly made coffee. After long time I found a good shop for donuts and freshly made coffee. Prices are bit high but quality wise it’s best.

What is going on, steak and cheese pie salty and fatty meat.. jumbo sausage roll yuck the sausage filling is fake yuck. Not happy, servo pies and sausage rolls are way better

My initial review two years ago was glowing! However, sad to say that today I was bitterly disappointed in the products we purchased. We ordered 6 mini pies a pasty and a beef pie. The pies had always been freshly baked with delicious juicy fillings that oozed out when biting into the pie. The pies today were tasteless, the pastry was extremely dry and the meat in each pie barely touched the top of the base. It seemed as though the pie filing portion had been reduced to less than half (see photo) causing it to be mouthfuls of pastry and very little beef. We’ve owned a reputable bakery for over 30 years in the past and usually go out of our way to enjoy a Daniels beef pie. My husband also asked for a Cornish pasty however the person serving him didn’t know what that was. The pasty purchased instead was dry and tasteless with a seemingly unseasoned filling. I used to love these pies but will not return. The standard has well and truly slipped!! If you’re going to sell pastries at a premium price then add premium beef filling that fills the base ( not half way) and use premium pastry! As you can see in the photos the beef filling is nowhere near the top of the pie and not even said way!! Cheaply made .
