we came in to the groove train casey for our anniversary. we ordered my wife favourite meal chicken risotto we expected high quality meals as weve heard great reviews about the restaurant.The chicken risotto was very poor had no flavour and watery! When im paying a premium price i expect more the meal fell well short of the mark extremely disappointed.

The pizzas (all of them) are not the same quality as they used to be. They are dense, they don’t look good with HUGE chunks of seafood and lazy placing of the items. The pizza base does not seem wood fired at all like it used to. The taste isn’t great either. On the Margherita pizza, the tomatoes make it look horrible and give a horrible texture when you bite into it. For the lamb pizza, the sauce is literally splashed in two different spurts like the bottle was empty and it has no flavour except for the salt from the olives. The spinach on it was just tossed onto the pizza. And the worst one was the marinara pizza. WHOLE uncut shelled prawns and uncut pieces of calamari look very off putting. It does not look appetising. The same goes for the pizza base and sauce. It’s also lacking cheese, and the shapes of the pizzas are not round like it used to be. Just horrible quality and change in the products overall. One good thing was the spaghetti bolognese (which I haven’t opened yet) - it looks decent but after tasting those pizzas, my expectations are subdued.

It was good to come back here after awhile, still good service and good food. Portions are also very good, we came on a Sunday late afternoon so wasn't too busy. Always happy to come back!!

The staff are always warm and welcoming and take the time to chat and know their customers.
My go to for my morning work coffee, a brunch date and catch up with friends.

So warm and inviting, plus pair that with the great quality food makes for a good night. Pasta was delicious and so was my hubby's Nasi Goreng 🤤 service was great. Food came quickly. Would defintely take the time to come here again
