Tina in the store is so welcoming and friendly. The store is so clean and neat. You can sit outside too.

I love the chicken mayo and salad sandwhich. It was the perfect combination of mayo and carrot and lettuce. So good! Must try! And their coffee is excellent!

Honestly, I've never wanted to jump on google quicker to give a review more than today. What an INCREDIBLE service by the amazing woman behind the counter. Not sure of her name unfortunately, but wow. Welcoming, friendly and really seemed eager to tell us about the pies and donuts without any hesitation.
Thank you to her for having such a refreshing face in customer service.
On top of that the pies were so delicious. Best ones I've had in a long while.

My search for a New Zealand pie lead me here. There is a huge variety of delicious looking donuts, cakes, slices and pies. I tried a few items that were close to being great.
New Zealand steak and cheese pie had a light crispy pastry with the perfect gravy. The meat was small slices of over cooked beef and cardboard. There was hardly any meat in my pie, it was mostly thick gravy. I’ve had a fair few NZ steak pies and its filled with chunks of soft tender beef, understandably to make pies more affordable there is less meat – but this was close to just a gravy pie.
I enjoyed the Lamington donut. It was heavy, well filled with cream. Donut was more of a bread type that was fresh and lovely to eat and the cream subtle sweet.
Black forest cake was a miss, the cream on top had dried out, sponge cake was fresh but didn’t have much flavour it was neither chocolatey or red velvety. The cream and cherries was delightful.

We had a great experience at Mr G’s - the donuts were sensational, coffee was perfect, the pies and hot food were delicious and the service was on point! A must visit when in Caroline Springs!
