One of the signature Korean restaurants in the Preston area. Everything from the food and drinks to the utensils is self-service. The meat is fresh, with Wagyu beef being the main focus. The LA steak is perfectly marinated with a sweet flavor. The crawfish is a must-try, spicy and flavorful, I could easily eat three plates! It's perfect for enjoying a Korean BBQ experience with friends and family, and the hands-on grilling is a lot of fun.

This is now my number-one all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet in Melbourne! The spicy crayfish 🦞 were incredible, honestly better than what I’ve had at many a la carte restaurants, and they kept replenishing them throughout the night. The meat quality was excellent, and the dessert selection was surprisingly impressive. These weren’t the usual low-quality buffet desserts; they tasted genuinely house-made. The mochi skin, in particular, was so soft you could tell it was freshly prepared.

Compared to few other bbq buffet we’ve had in Melbourne, Onni is just a nice one to try. I’d rate 6.5/10. The layout makes customers think there are a wide variety of options but are just of the same cuts of meat, marinated or plain. Meat cuts were not of a high quality range. The seafood options are very limited and were not very fresh. Salmon, the most common sashimi you’ll find in a bbq buffet, look like they were left out on the plate for a couple of hours. There are fermented raw blue swimmer crabs but they didn’t taste like the authentic Korean ganjang-gejang. There are few Japanese nigiri and Chinese dim sum options. A popular dish for a number of guests was the crawfish. Desserts: Probably the tiramisu is the best among the limited choices. Interestingly, fruits are displayed on the same table as the veggies. There is a freezer with ice cream and icy poles but the ice cream is of a cheap range. Definitely not an authentic Korean type of bbq but more of a Chinese and mixed-styled one. There is also a machine that makes bingsu but it was just kinda frozen milo drink served with condensed milk. Value for money: absolutely not, compared to a number of other good options in Melbourne.

Such a great place with a group of friends. I'm amazed how quickly drinks are brought to the table after being ordered. So incredibly fast. I really enjoyed the marinated meat the most. Insane value and delicious.
