stayed at The Adina Pentridge last night with my partner and honestly loved the experience. The room was incredibly cosy, beautifully styled, and had such a warm, intimate atmosphere. You can genuinely feel the history and energy of the old prison in the building, but the way the rooms have been transformed is stunning β€” it feels luxurious while still respecting the character of the place. A huge shout-out to Harini, for her amazing service. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, and her warmth, professionalism, and personal touch made a big difference to our stay. Seeing her friendly face really made us feel welcome and cared for. This hotel has such a unique vibe! equal parts atmospheric, comfortable, and special. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting something a little different but still beautifully done.

Clean and very comfortable rooms with amazing views no matter where you end up. Staff are super helpful, polite and courteous. The pool is a nice addition on the hot summer days that's for sure. Would definitly stay again.

I only have 1 complaint.. Having to go home πŸ˜πŸ’” We stayed 2 nights for my sons birthday weekend. What amazing accommodation! Such a amazing location and so unique! My son was so upset to leave and wanted to 'live there forever'. Beds were super comfy, amazing value for what we paid. Spectacular views from the standard room on 6th floor.. My only issue was the room temperature which we all had (3 rooms) , just needed to call reception to reset, other than that pool was beautiful and nice and warm, we spent alot of time in there. We will definitely be back and spread the word, we were so wowed by our experience 😍

Chose this as an experience, so location outside CBD wasn't an issue and Melb publci transport is right on the doorstep. Was upgraded to a cell suite as they had a vacancy. The room is 4 old jail cells knocked into one, but is still def 4 cells in a line. It's not for everyone and would say 2 days at most would do for most people (god knows what 20 or 30 years would have felt like in one cell!). Room was really well fitted out. Def 4 star quality. The hotel itself is a stunning piece of historic restoration, kept a lot of original features...cell doors, walls, bars on windows), but elegantly finished and beautifully lit. If you are not claustrophobic try the jail cell for a night or two. Unique experience.

Such a cool location and beautiful hotel. Check in was a breeze and the rooms were perfect. The bathrooms have a great aesthetic. Staff were friendly and helpful and car park was straightforward. Check in was at 2pm and check out at 11am which is amazing as most hotels usually aren’t check in until 3 and often check out at 10. The extra few hours really come in handy. Will be staying here again for sure. Thanks guys!
