***Use this review to save you $60 !!!! *** I think the hype of jujus and the line out the door contributed to an elevated expectation, which in turn contributed to a greater disappointment. We purchased 2 sandwiches and a hash brown on a public holiday for 60 odd dollars. The chicken was incredibly oily.. the only flavour detectable was that of pickles. The hash brown had zero crunch due to the amount of oil. Is it what we ordered yes, expected - no. The staff were lovely, and I tip my hat to who does their socials. You're welcome.

I went for their last night pop up burgers and fries. I ordered when they opened and a large line of people piled in soon after! They were under the pump but lovely service and the food was absolutely outstanding. Burger was soo tasty! The spicy factor with the peppers and pickles is a great combo. And the fries were such decent value - received a whole bag full. Great job JUJUS!

Went to Juju's in Thornbury for the first time and although the food was generally good, there were a few things that spoiled the experience. - Wait time. Just over 30 minutes for two sandwiches. That just is not acceptable for any food business. - Fish wrap was very tasty but the fish was not seasoned at all. It needed salt and could've used a nice tangy sauce to really elevate it. The unseasoned fish was a real bummer though. - Schnitty was nicer, seasoned much better. It is a very filling meal. The bread was ripped on one half of the sandwich so it kind of fell apart trying to eat it. The two sandwiches cost me $40. That's a lot of money and i don't think it's a place i'll visit again unless it was for something special. The staff were friendly and no criticism on them, they work with what they have. There just doesn't seem to be enough people or good system in place to speed up the process. Again, the 30min wait just spoiled the experience for me. For a regular Tuesday afternoon, that's just too long.

I’ve been to Juju’s Deli in Thornbury before and had a pleasant experience, so I was looking forward to going back. Unfortunately, this visit was really disappointing. I ordered the Caesar wrap, and it had a very strange taste — not sure if it was the chicken or the croutons, but it tasted like old oil. I couldn’t finish it. The service also wasn’t great this time. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than serving customers, which made it feel like we were an afterthought. It’s a shame because I used to enjoy coming here, but this experience has definitely put me off returning for a while.

I’ve been here a few times now, and every time, the wait times to get served get longer (with no acknowledgment either mind you) and the sandwiches get smaller. We got a fish and the hot honey chicken to share half and half each, and as you can see the portions are smaller than expected considering the total for both sandwiches was $43!!! (Noting that you’re only seeing $21.50 worth in the photo) The taste is great, don’t get me wrong, but honestly where did those big portions go from when it first launched??? You can get better value at other sandwich joints tbh. SORRY! just being honest.
