Great pizza and great drinks.
Went for a birthday, with a party of about 10. Food all came out at good intervals so people were all able to eat a bit while waiting for the rest of the order.
We got the prosciutto and pear pizza which was quite yummy. Pear pieces were a little sparse and small so couldn’t fully enjoy that flavour but overall the quality was really good.

Takeaway Pizza does solid pizzas with a creative twist — definitely not your average topping combos. We tried the bone marrow pastrami, lamb, and prosciutto pizzas, and overall they were impressive.
The bone marrow and lamb ones were the standouts. The bone marrow pizza had massive cubes of meat on top — rich, fatty, and full of flavour. Something I’ve never had on a pizza before. The lamb was shredded (thankfully not minced), tender and well-textured, and didn’t dry out at all. It was definitely oily and heavy, but packed with flavour. The pine nuts and overall balance of flavours in both were great.
The prosciutto one had a bit of a truffle taste, which I’m personally not big on, and it could’ve used more prosciutto or a bolder cure to shine.
We also got the chicken wings, which were too bready and crumbly — not great, but fair enough for a pizza spot.
The crust and base were top-tier — crispy, held their shape despite the rich toppings, and didn’t go soggy.
Service was also really good — the waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations, which made the experience even better.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – inventive, tasty pizzas with great service. Heavy, rich flavours but worth trying if you’re after something bold and different.

Since being in Melbourne we’ve visited Takeaway Pizza many times and it’s always been outstanding food. The pizza dough is soft and crispy with many delicious topping options, we highly recommend the meatball and pepperoni flavours which were our favourites. Portion sizes are great value for money and we’re always left feeling stuffed! The service has always been polite and quick both eating in and for takeaway. If you’re in the area definitely stop by if you enjoy wood-fired pizza!

THE BEST PIZZA I have EVER had!!!
The pastrami bone marrow pizza is a knockout. And the pizza bases are delicious.
We drove 40 minutes to try this place and will do it again and again.

Funky pizza restaurant. Amazing variety of pizza toppings. Love love love..... We had meatball pizza, prosciutto pizza and mortadella and honey pizza. Great atmosphere, dine in or out. Busy so best to book a table by calling or online.
Staff very friendly.
