Had a great pre-made egg sandwich from here this morning!!!!! Crazy to say it was one of the best egg and salad sandwiches I’ve had. Wasn’t expecting that 🤣
I had a couple other sweet treats from here as well that were good and scratched the sweet-tooth craving, but not necessarily outstanding in any way.

Got a few things from the bakery, however nothing was particularly outstanding. The custard in the vanilla slice was creamy but had an overpowering butterscotch flavour. Steak and mushroom pie was packed with filling, but we found it too salty for us. Similarly, the crispy pork banh mi was also too salty and tasted “stale”. The meat to salad ratio was a bit off- we actually would’ve preferred more salad as it was missing that freshness and zing that we love about banh mi’s.

Had a sausage roll and the BBQ pork and BBQ chicken banh mi. Aside from bread and pastry, the fillings were a little underwhelming.
The sausage was very salty eating on its own and the BBQ meat in the banh mi were bright red dyed, dry and salty and otherwise very mediocre. The banh mi rolls didn't have the cucumber stick or enough pate or pickled veges and the ones in there were far too sweet. It just doesn't taste like a normal banh mi that I can get everywhere else in melb for the last 30 years of my life. Pricing was on the higher side along the line of what I pay in CBD which I didn't expect in suburbia.
So sad as I was really hoping for a good local I can regularly visit for my banh mi fix. I guess I still need to go to Preston for that.

Really great blueberry muffin, honestly couldn’t believe how many blueberries they filled it with as usually bakeries skimp on this

Food was a bit disappointing. I ordered the BBQ pork on sourdough and it was dry, despite paying extra for some aioli. The baked cheesecake was also somewhat bland and dull. The worst part was the service! Not friendly at all and had me feeling like I was more of an inconvenience to them than a paying customer. Will not be supporting in the future. In fact, I'm sorry I didn't go to Subway across the street instead.
