I've had the pleasure of trying over 25 burger shops across the country in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and QLD, and none compare to the quality and flavor of College Dropout.
Their attention to detail is impressive, every burger looks and tastes like a masterpiece.
My GO TO order is "College Dropout" a smash patty and a juicy fried chicken and lots of other delicious toppings.
Whether you're craving something classic and simple or loaded with toppings, College Dropout has got you covered. Don't forget to add their juicy pastrami to your order whether it's in the burger or on the side, add it to whatever you order. Make sure to also get their (cheeseburger) loaded fries and special burger sauce.
Finish it off with their Nutella donut or their delicious biscoff cheesecake.
Their merch is top quality, and their jumper is perfect Melbourne weather. All staff are wonderful and friendly.
This is the one place I look forward to visiting each time I go to Melbourne and I have to have it at least twice. Highly recommend.

‘Burger or Sauce Bucket’
Heard the hype, saw the ratings, walked in excited. Ordered the fried chicken burger — it looked incredible, but that’s where it ended!
First bite in… Spicy mayo was dripping into the wrap, and the entire bun was soaked through like a sponge.
I asked the staff if this was normal amount of sauce — they said ‘yes’. So without a complaint I sat down and continued eating what I ordered, but it was just too much.
Ended up eating the chicken and leaving the rest.
Genuinely left feeling sick in my stomach! So disappointing.

My friends and I finally came to try apparently delicious burgers.
Unfortunately it was first and last time we went there.
Person who took our order said it will take up to 25 min which is ok but at the end took them 1 h before we could try it. Absolutely ridiculous! You guys need to change your system and stop misleading people about your service time!
Burgers were below average! Cooked the hell out of the beef , was dry and it was a sloppy burgers.
We were very disappointed. Your burgers are crap! Look at this garbage

been going here since they first opened. prices have increased quite a tad (unfortunately) & the chips aren’t as good as they used to be, but the smash patties are still some of the best in Melbourne. can’t beat their signature college dropout burger

The chicken was UNREAL seriously so juicy and actually seasoned incredibly. The special sauce was obviously a winner 🤩 and I really wish we got a double patty for the beef smash burger to get the full effect! The burger loaded fries were elite - I just wish they cut the actual patty and diced the onions a bit more.
Also I think it’s a potato bun they use for the burgers - unbeatable !
Parking is a nightmare and seating is extremely limited, we waited about 25 minutes for our order as it was very very busy! The music is also VERY loud.
Overall 8/10 really good food!
