The Alleyway

The Alleyway is one of my favourite cafe and eatery in Burgundy Street shops, Heidelberg. There are classic breakfast items from hearty meals, sweet delights and of course, their coffee is like caffeinated fuel for the body.

Great cafe for breakfast and lunch. Good portion sizes, even the beef burger was a bit much!! Affogato is my indulgent Saturday morning drink and it hit the spot. Plenty of parking out the back and the cafe is accessible via the alleyway

Great service, generous and delicious portions, and a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, and it’s definitely a café you’ll want to come back to.

Great food and coffee, the single origin espresso was really nice as either black or white coffees. They make their own chilli oil too. Nice operation and a new regular spot for me when I get a day off. Recommend checking them out and worth driving too.

Excellent service, good coffee, food well presented and made with fresh, tasty ingredients. Nice views, comfortable seating options. Excellent outdoor seating. Some gluten free choices. Moderately priced. Good toilets up a flight of stairs.
