The interior design contains exposed brickwork, wall art, and medieval lighting leading to an intriguing atmosphere. The lady staff was welcoming and friendly. Our 2 coffee arrived separately, but was not bad. Our eggs on toast was a bit dry. I tried the un-common smoked beef bacon as a side option, it was good.

We reserved online via google which was really fuss free and the table was ready even when we arrived early. The cafe interior looks really good. I think they are pet friendly as there were customers with dogs outdoors. It was quite lively and buzzing.
The food took some time to be ready for us. I think we waited for maybe 15-20minutes? There was a little accident as our food fell when it was being served, so we had to wait abit more, but their staff were very apologetic and checked in again to see if we were ok. :)
I’d say the food is more suitable for youth onwards or maybe my kids need to be more exposed to brunch food. Haha. But the fruits on toast was actually a fruit bread with butter which my husband said tasted surprisingly good.
The Made in Japan ‘smells like sushi’ according to my girl - and I tasted the rice, tofu and chicken and they were a delicious teriyaki flavour. The Morroccan Breakfast was savoury and yummy too. If my husband finishes it, that means it’s good and hinest cos he doesn’t like things that are too fancy! I got the mushroom toast and requested it to be without the white wine. They discouraged me to get it as they said it may not taste as great without the white wine. However, I insisted cos i thought it was a unique dish and no regrets! I just wished there was a little more of the cream sauce to it as the toast was in my opinion slightly burnt and the cream would make it more satisfying. I also got the cappuccino and it was excellent!
Overall, i think if you are in the area, you should go and give it a try, especially if u love to cafe hop. Slightly on the pricier side, but an overall good place to have brunch!

Extremely frustrated. This used to be my favourite place to brunch with my dad, I’ve come with a friend for the first time in a while. I remember the owner would greet us with a G’day and the service was outstanding the staff was absolutely wonderful. The food also was phenomenal the menu is still so creative.
The issues arise from new management, new staff are very difficult to speak to and order from, and very slow. Also the food has dropped in quality, my Moroccan eggs were lukewarm at best, the sausage overcooked, and the portion dramatically decreased. The food also tasted much oilier and I feel the quality of produce has definitely dropped since my last visit here.
Not to mention there was a hair in my friend’s food.
HOWEVER, shoutout to the Barista, coffee was outstanding and I absolutely devoured my strong almond latte. Thank you for reading this review.

Just tried the chili scrambled eggs here and WOW – they absolutely made my morning! The perfect kick of spice, so flavourful and comforting. A huge thank you to the lovely staff for their warm smiles and amazing service – you’ve truly made my Melbourne trip unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back! 🥰
