The food was good, I had the mushroom toast. But my friend ordered the Goddess bowl which came with almost no veggies and like 10 grains of wild rice. She returned it and they brought our a much better version!

I am generally a fan of cafes tucked away inside suburbia and this fits the bill. It feels homely and a place that you can pop in on a Saturday morning with the kids and the cats and dogs. The milk is fresh, the macha is smooth and the coffee is on flow. The polished concrete and mod industrial decor give it a nostalgic laidback feel. The toilet is a good reflection of this, a big fan of the tap. Whenever, if ever, the train rolls past, it hardly feels out of place. The staff are lovely and enjoy getting to interact with the locals. Even the milkman gets a warm reception when he turns up in the morning. It's places like this in Fairfield that make it feel like it is still a quaint little village. Wish them well!

We have been to this fantastic cafe several times but not written a review. See update menu. My favourite is the Shakshouka.
