After a long day of flying foam planes, sliding down slides, and swinging on swings, it's time to go to the best mcdonald's ever: Christmas mcdonald's!
Ah yes, a long running Christmas eve tradition.
Literally the best mcdonald's in Melbourne.
The food here was great!
(NOTE: I was going to get the grinch meal, but they didn't have it in stock, they must have discontinued it. Oh well, it's fine.)
The chicken big mac burger was nice and a change from the ol' beef. 👍
The fries were hot and crispy, just how they should be.👌
The drink was ice cold and refreshing, just how it should be.👌
I even got a free ice cream sundae with my 'mymaccas' points! Sundae was cold and delicious, just how it should be.👌
The service here was a bit slow this year, there were quite a few people there, but we did get our food eventually, so it doesn't matter.
The atmosphere was pretty much the same as every other mcdonald's in Melbourne.
There were some Christmas decorations though, so that was nice.
The playplace was a decent sized playplace, there was a Christmas tree in the playplace area, so that was nice.
They were even playing carols by candlelight on the TV! How good!
So overall, Christmas mcdonald's is the best mcdonald's in Melbourne and a classic Christmas eve tradition of ours, along with going to the park up the road as well.
Will be back next Christmas eve!

Plenty of good parking and nice seating space. The kids’ area is a great bonus.
Ordered coffee and it was really well made — the barista did a great job. Also had the Spicy McSpicy Chicken meal and a McChicken burger. Both were fresh, hot, and tasty.
Great experience overall!

Wasn't too impressed yesterday morning with the robotic service from the staff taking my order as it wasn't the first time at this McDonald's.
In addition to that, it's been a while seeing a hashbrown all stuck to the paper which in this instance happen to both of my hashbrowns making 1/3 non edible.
Some feedback to staff prepping the hashbrowns to perhaps let the oil drain out a bit before putting them into their packinging to avoid this issue.

I come here time to time. Normally go Heatherton tho. Made mistake coming to this one today, the worst 2 staff at the front counter. The girl had mccafe apron on was the delusional. Acting like a toddler and rude. Leave if she doesn't want to work there. Give another people who want to work an opportunity really. Manager was there too. Totally unaware of the situation so i get why workers are like that. Anyway, this one is always the worst one for me. Go to Heatherton. They are not excellent but better than this one. Look how they assembled the bigMac. Its like a food for animals. Unless you are a real pickles lover 🤣🤣
And the McChicken looked bit sad too.

What happen to the sauce? Worker couldn’t aim in the middle of the chicken and bun or something? 90% of sauce outside on box. Horrible
