Love a good old smoke meat restaurant. Tucked away surrounded by the industrial area of Moorabbin is this great little gem. Ample seating inside and a cute under cover court yard at front so you can bring your little fur baby along as well as easy street parking. Perhaps if you’re a bigger group recommended to make a reservation for one of the booths. First time here, so my partner and I decided on the Taste Tickler Platter with a side of Mac and Cheese. Can’t say it disappointed! The beef brisket was definitely the star on the plate. The baby back ribs were a bit light on with the meat and slightly dry. However, the overall platter was great taste of what’s on offer. I am not a huge fan of mayo / ranch dressing salads as it’s quite decadent but can’t complain when the serving is quite generous. The Mac and Cheese was perfect - not too cheesy but has that pull and didn’t coagulate whist not being eaten. As said the brisket was definitely the highlight, followed by the pork belly, cheese kransky sausage and crispy chicken wings which was crispy (as described!) and flavourful. When the plate came out we didn’t think it was enough but we ended up taking away quite a bit. Service was prompt and professional. Would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu. A little local find with great vibes and even better food.

We popped in and were met with great service and even scored a booth seat. Ordered the platter for one, loved the chicken wings on here and the brisket, even got some brisket burnt ends which were delicious! Also got a few servings of the chicken ribs with buffalo sauce which had a kick and the New Jersey poutine with some beers on tap. I'm keen to try out the burgers next!

I’ve been to a few of these bbq spots around Melbourne and I think this one is really good. Plenty of free parking, plenty of dining space, excellent service, the food is reasonably priced and excellent. Highly recommend giving it ago.

Ordered Taste tikler platter and onion rings. Meat on a platter was mostly good but brisket was on a dry side. Not a big fan of potato salad. Onion rings - great!

Let’s start off with saying it’s one off the best meat places I have ever been too. I have been here multiple times more than 5 times in the last few months. Their slow cook meat is seriously amazing and they don’t put sauce that’s already on the meat (does come at the side) & the sticky date pudding is awesome as well. + they also have alcohol free beer which is pretty good. (They have a full bar with lots of alcohol beer & other drinks too) the best thing about this place is that the food doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to buy. It’s priced well with good quality meat. This is a place I’d 100% recommend to travel to. Although I’d recommend booking does get busy!
