WW Highett is a good place to shop. Being part of the Highett shopping plaza helps. The aisles are wide enough. Finding stuff is aided by good signage and a reasonably comprehensive listings hanging in the aisles.
Staff are smiley, friendly, helpful
All the things I wanted were available. Some required an effort to reach.
Store was mostly clean
Worth a visit

Empty or near-empty shelves are commonplace, and I've found staff typically off-hand. You need a coin to get a trolley. Deli had no fresh ham, etc when I went just the other day, in the afternoon, forcing customers to buy the more expensive pre-packaged items.

I've had 2 different annoying experiences with the same person at the check out. I'm not sure if the person is not happy doing her job or what is her problem but doesn't have any customer service skills. I'll definitely be going to Moorabbin or Southland instead of buying things at Highett ever again.

I dislike Grocery shopping but this Woolies is a dream. Well stocked and well presented fresh food. It doesn't feel 'sterile' like some of the other refurbed stores.

Woolworths Highett is a great store, these new stores, Southland is another, are much brighter and I think bigger, than their older counterparts such as Bentleigh and Moorabbin. Good location on Highett Road, opposite train station and with hundreds of apartments being built next door it is going to become exceptionally busy!
