Came for Kids Sunday Fun Day and the free zoo. The booking system is genuinely impressive. You can choose date, time, seating area, see real photos of each section, and even pre-order dishes or drinks. A+ UX. The venue itself is great too. Spacious, comfortable, and well signed. Every area feels thoughtfully set up. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t live up to the price at all. Very expensive and very bland. We tried the kids’ penne, grilled chicken, assorted root veggies, calamari, crab spaghetti, pizza, Mexi parma, and none of them were enjoyable beyond basic ‘eat to be full’ level. Service was uneven. The Pavilion entrance staff were lovely, but the servers delivering food seemed disengaged and uninterested. Great concept and setting, but food and service seriously need work to justify the prices.

Went for a team lunch this week and it was a mixed bag experience. We were a group of 9 and we were seated at a table that was made up by putting together few smaller tables that had side bars, and this resulted in very limited leg space for most of us. It was very difficult to move around and few of us had to be seated awkwardly for the entire meal. We tried the fish and chips ($33) which had a strong vinegar dressing over the chips. The fish was good. The wellnes bowl (~$27) was good but my colleague mentioned the chicken burger was just ok. The Parma and the pizza was deemed good as well. Though it was Thursday lunch, there weren’t that many patrons. Just enough to fill up some of the tables. There was a speaker just behind us so it was a bit difficult to hear others. Service was great. Food was served pretty quickly and the serving sizes were decent. The place is near the Auburn station. Has decent space onsite separate toilet facilities.

We held an end of year celebration function in the pavilion space for 40 of us. The prices were very reasonable, the pavilion space was really lovely and suitable for our group. Dominique was the functions organiser and she was really great to work with. Really appreciate her flexibility with a few of our food orders changing quite late just before the event. Everyone in our group had a great time and would highly recommend the pavilion space for functions!

Beautiful pub. It’s very spacious with lots of different areas to accommodate your needs. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. Staff are also super friendly.

Attended an info night upstairs midweek on 19/11 recently & was impressed with the tasteful conversion of a 1888 heritage hotel to a pub cum function/events hub. Nicely done! I had tasty nachos of ample proportion that I could share. Other attendees enjoyed their orders. Glass of prosecco was tad expensive. Recalled attending a birthday party here donkey's years ago when it was called Geebung Polo Club. Interior has spruced up a lot since then & newer add ons have not detracted from period charm. Toilets are clean! Free park after 6 pm has no time limit but hard to find a spot & is terribly narrow after road upgrade. Public transport is better option. Sorry - no food pics bcos the beaut heritage features got me!
