Frustrating. No service. Cold chips. Ordinary Parma - cold and inedible . Couldn’t even manage to eat half of it and I left still hungry. No salt. Asked the waitress. She forgot. Complete lack of service of care about customer satisfaction.

Arrived 11:30am on a Sunday right after a run. Didn’t have to make a big group booking but got a table for 8 (and pulled 2 extra seats since there were no tables for 10). Reallyyyy liked the sparkling water on tap and tomato sauce bottles. Despite other reviews the service was fine, they were friendly to me.
Food was edible and came out quickly considering how busy it was. Between 2 adults we shared a Parma and a beef burger. I don’t normally like my Parma placed on top of chips but it was cheesy and the chicken itself was well portioned so can’t complain. Burger bun was dry but the meat patty was juicy, so also can’t complain.

Great beer garden with a screen in every direction and one massive one. It’s impossible to sit in a bad spot.
The place goes off with a great vibe. My preferred spot to watch a game if I haven’t got tickets.
Just gotta get in early to snag a table when there’s a local game on. Approve of no booking.

The London Tavern Hotel is hands down one of the best pubs in Richmond, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a local favourite. From the moment you walk in, there’s a great buzz — the kind of welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile.
The beer garden is a real standout — spacious, beautifully set up, and perfect for everything from casual after-work drinks to bigger gatherings with friends. It has that rare mix of being lively without feeling overcrowded, and it’s just as enjoyable in summer as it is in the cooler months.
The staff are fantastic: friendly, down-to-earth, and always quick to serve with a smile. They really add to the whole experience, whether you’re a regular or popping in for the first time.
The drinks list is exactly what you’d want — plenty of beers on tap, including great local options, as well as a good selection of wines and spirits. The food is excellent too, with hearty, tasty pub classics done really well. Portion sizes are generous, and everything comes out fresh and quick.
Whether you’re catching the footy, celebrating with mates, or just looking for a relaxed spot for a meal and a drink, the London Tavern hits the mark every time. It’s a pub with character, charm, and consistency — I’ll definitely be back again and again.

One of my absolute favorite pubs!
Thank you Gina and Tom for your incredible hospitality last weekend. We had a wonderful 30 year high school reunion and the atmosphere was perfect. You both were so kind, helpful, efficient and the wait and bar staff on the night were excellent. We will be back for sure for the next reunion and always love our family pub meals.
