Great place for the vibes but food could use an uplift. Happy hour is awesome with great drinks. We got the big pork bao which was nice, way too much mayo though. Some smaller baos too. They sold out of most starters which was disappointing but we did get the Japanese fried and the fried tofu. One of the sold out dishes was substituted for dumpling. They were nice enough. Overall a good experience and looks like a fun pace in the evenings.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible vibe and an all-round great night! The Joint Bar has such a fun, welcoming atmosphere — the staff were super friendly and attentive, and the drinks were top-notch. Perfect spot for catching up with friends or starting a night out. Music, lighting, and overall energy were spot on. Definitely one of my favourite bars around — can’t wait to come back! 🍸🔥

Nice bar, connections to Flinders backpackers hostel and discount on drinks for hostel residents. Food was lovely, drinks are good with lots of options for all. Great views on the terrace looking at Flinders station! 2 pool tables but only one working, that's the only area that needs some TLC - some new ques and balls would be great but that's the only complaint

I came to give The Joint Bar a second chance and needless to say, it was not too bad. The bottmlsss baos are $45pp and it is 90mins of all kinds of mini baos. We’re not big eaters so we opted for some à la carte instead & this is what we ordered: Mini Bao ($18.5) - cheese burger - Nashville chicken - Korean pulled brisket Homies Tater Tots ($13.5) Katsu chicken curry ($27.5) The food was pretty much the same as when we had it the first time. It was neither amazing nor was it horrible. We did like the Nashville chicken and the Korean pulled brisket mini baos. We found those to be the most flavourful. The cheeseburger mini baos were a little bit disappointing, I think because it had BBQ sauce It just didn’t work with the chargrillef beef. The chicken Katsu curry was okay, I think the rice was a tad bit dry. Overall, the vibe was really good, but I think the food can definitely be worked on.

If you’re looking for a rooftop bar with an awesome view, great music and AMAZING food and drinks - especially for your mid week knock off drinks or even Friday night catch ups , this is the place to be! We had incredible Bao Project food and fun Drag Bingo and laughs on a Wednesday night. It was SO much fun! Staff are absolutely beautiful and so accomodating. Highly recommend, will be back!!
