We were so impressed with the food and drinks at Nevermind. Not to mention the phenomenal prices.
We went to a well known pub in Richmond the previous night and paid twice as much for stale chips and an average meal.
Great vibe. Vegan options. 10/10.

A Tuesday afternoon visit found the venue quiet. A great eclectic decor gives the place a Brunswick feel. I didn't give the food a go.
The beer selection is disappointing with the bog standard CUB, plus a house lager. It'd be nice if there were some local craft beers on tap.

The gorgeous and good looking bartender named Kai is truly on of the kind. Offering us not one not two of three mythic slurp juice. Truly passionate and kind bartender and honestly everything you could ask! If you see Kai then you must say hi! And ask for the special slurp juice because he will definitely deliver!!! Thank you Kai for truly an amazing hospitality and a beautiful way to end the night!!!

Very disrespectful bouncers at the entry of the bar and the bar manager of the night who was very dismissive of us.They threatened the police on my good friend for having a fake ID despite her being 24 years, horrible experience felt like a criminal without any evidence. Even when proven the ID was geniune was a very weak apology and felt more like an obligation apology than a sincere one. Was a frequent visitor here during my uni days and had many great times, but this experience has me rethinking if I want to come back here again.

Almost got denied entry because the bouncers insisted my legitimate Victorian driver’s licence was “fake” despite me being 24 years old. The bouncers were incredibly unprofessional, rude, and aggressive, threatening to call the police instead of doing the bare minimum of their job.
The situation only de-escalated after I was forced to pull out the myVicRoads app and show the QR code which instantly proved the ID was real - something they could have asked for from the start instead of power-tripping.
Even after being proven wrong, there was no proper apology. Instead, both the bouncers and bar staff shifted the blame onto me, claiming the issue was that my ID was “old”, despite it being valid and not expired and issued by VicRoads themselves. Apparently customers are now expected to explain how government IDs work.
To make matters worse, we were double-charged for a beer which just added insult to injury after already being treated like a criminal for no reason.
I used to genuinely enjoy this bar and have been coming here for years, but this experience was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely unnecessary. Poor training, poor attitude, zero accountability. This has absolutely left a bad taste. We won’t be coming back.
