The atmosphere is easily a 5/5. The scenery is stunning — watching the ducks swim in the water while enjoying the sunset made the experience really special.
The food was good. The steak was slightly overcooked, but they offer a great “Steak Friday” deal for $29, which makes it very good value. The chicken sandwich was also good, though nothing particularly memorable.
Service was friendly and fast, which we appreciated.
I would definitely come back, even if just to have a drink and enjoy that view.

Absolutely loved the scenery at Studley Park Boathouse Cafe—the river, boating, and birds chirping made it so peaceful. The atmosphere is very cool and relaxing, with ample parking available.
Had coffee and some scones, and everything was delicious. Perfect spot to enjoy on a nice, sunny day. Highly recommend!

A group of four of us went here for breakfast. We went early which meant that the dining room was still fairly quiet, with only a few tables booked.
The atmosphere and views are calming as you are surrounded by nature.
The server was friendly and attentive. The meal was wonderful and I would go back again for sure.

Studley Park Boathouse – 4 out of 5
Studley Park Boathouse is an absolutely beautiful spot and a wonderful place to spend a weekend, especially when the weather is cool. The scenery is lovely and the overall atmosphere is peaceful, relaxed and family friendly. It is the kind of location where you can truly unwind and enjoy nature.
The food was delicious and easily a 4 out of 5, though I was a little surprised by the limited lunch menu. I expected more variety, but what we ordered was well prepared and full of flavour, so it was still a very enjoyable meal.
Service, however, could be improved. Our coffees took around 45 minutes to reach the table, and we had to remind the staff before they finally arrived. Water was also not provided without asking, which is disappointing for a venue of this standard.
Another major issue is the car park. There simply are not enough parking spaces for the number of visitors, and finding a spot can be stressful and time consuming.
Despite these shortcomings, Studley Park Boathouse remains a beautiful and inviting place to visit. With more efficient service and better parking facilities, it could easily offer an even better experience.

We visited Studley Park Boathouse today as a family of three and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We started with a hearty breakfast at 10 am — oats porridge, chilli scrambled eggs, ham croissant, bacon with eggs, along with a latte and cappuccino. Everything was delicious and served fresh. Even though it was just 9 degrees, we chose to sit in the outdoor area, which made the experience even more special. Ordering was very convenient with the QR codes placed on each table, and the staff were warm and friendly.
After breakfast, we went boating and picked up some duck food (just for $2), which made it even more fun. The nearby toilets were clean and easy to access. We then enjoyed a relaxing family walk on the scenic trail, surrounded by lush greenery, colourful parrots, and other beautiful birds.
Overall, it was such a refreshing outing — great food, friendly service, boating fun, and a lovely nature walk. A perfect spot for families to spend a morning together. Highly recommended!
