The Terrace at the Royal Botanic Gardens is a beautiful wedding venue — calm, elegant, and surrounded by so much greenery right in the heart of Melbourne. I love photographing weddings here and can't wait to be back!

Awful experience. Never coming back here. Seated and ordered on phone using QR code. My friend’s drink arrived, then our 2 burgers arrived. Waited 25 minutes still my smoothie had not arrived. Flagged down a server and she said she’ll notify her boss and get the drink ASAP. Boss came over and said she will get drink right then. Another 10 minutes later nothing. Went to register to get a refund. Was meet with no apology, lady was rude and tossed my refund at me. Ridiculous to wait 35+ minutes for a drink. Especially when food comes out after 15 minutes. Finished my entire meal never got my drink. The servers here do not care! The food was average and very overpriced. Not coming back.

Went the Sunday after Christmas, very crowded. 10 min queue and 10 min wait for takeaway or 45 mins to wait for a table to dine in. Reuben sandwich was nice, salmon bagel was not bad. Had a pink fruits smoothie which had dragonfruit and strawberry.

You couldn't ask for a better setting in Melbourne. We had brunch at The Terrace overlooking the Ornamental Lake and it was incredibly peaceful. I highly recommend the Blueberry & Ricotta Hotcakes—they were light, fluffy, and beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent, and the service was surprisingly quick despite how busy it was. It’s the perfect spot to refuel after a walk through the gardens

Amazing place. The views are beautiful. The English Breakfast tea was very good. Excellent range of high quality savoury and sweet pastries. Friendly staff and great service. Thankyou.
