although their cakes are delectable, specifically the 'Raspberry and White Chocolate Seriously Swirled Madeira Cake', the customer service is absolutely appauling. just because we called Susan Day Cakes, once to ask when the previously mentioned cake will be back in stock and once more to clarify and then again because i felt like it. we dealt with a woman named 'Donna' who was incredibly rude to us and informed us that the cake would not be back in stock until may next year. after calling to clarify, donna asked us 'did you call yesterday' obviously we had and she had a problem with that. we hung up as it was very emotionally distressing to be verbally attacked in this manner. when we called a thrid time, donna answered but did not say anything, instead deciding to be silent for at least 7 seconds and then placing an intimidating and authorative man on the phone in order to scare us. this was unnaceptable and i am torn between my love of cake and hatred for donna. anyone else had interactions like this? #unhappy #wehatedonna #giveusthecake #gainingthegrain #ineverworethisinmybed
