Nice cinema with reclining seats and each theatre isn't too packed with seats. Cheap tickets on Tuesdays too especially if you're a member! Great to watch movies especially independent ones that aren't later distributed on streaming.

Really great cinema. Staff always so friendly, great sound, screen size and recliners. Popcorn is top notch. Love it here.

I’m finding my membership with @palacecinemas to be a real bonus in my semi retirement. I signed up for their Premium Tier several weeks ago and at $13.50 annually, it’s the most economical way to see movies. @palacecinemas also have a rewards programs where you accumulate points on purchases within the cinema and can redeem for snacks and drinks at the checkin counter. Recently I’ve been making the most of $10 weekday tickets enjoying movies such as #madameclicquot #tinamovie and #charlesaznavour. All worthy of a viewing. For this review I’m focussing on #palacecinemapennylane in #mooneeponds What a delightful complex set amongst the bustle of #pucklestreet with 11 cinemas over three levels, including access to the rooftop with stunning views of Moonee Ponds and Puckle Street. From large capacity to comfortable intimate spaces, all have the style that is now a standard across the industry. Not every cinema has the reclining chairs and raised footrests at the push of a button, but the coziness still makes for an enjoyable and sometimes luxurious viewing experience. Their dedication to showcasing international and indie movies is admirable. Thank you to the young but always helpful staff. Recommend Palace Cinema Penny Lane to watch your next movie. Room for improvement: better description of the location which you access via an arcade. Plus within the cinema better signage as to which cinemas are on which level. Notes: wheelchair and disabled friendly with lifts and seating to cater for every need. Kid friendly including a change table for babies. Parking can be tricky so I encourage you to read the signs carefully as each street and carpark is different. Anything after 6pm is usually safe for unlimited parking. Food wise there are the usual choices and highly recommend the choc tops which are generous in size. Moonee Ponds has an abundance of cafes, bars and eateries for a before or after experience. #tripadvisor #tripadvisorreview #tripadvisorreviewer #googlelocalguide #googlelocalguides #level10googlereviewer #letsguide #thewanderingreviewer @thewanderingreviewer

2025: Made up of multiple levels of cinema rooms, with access to the rooftop, providing elevated views of Puckle St and surrounding Moonee Ponds area. The reclining chairs are comfy, but the screen size is a bit piddly. Choose seating closer to the center front, for better audio and visuals.

The cinema itself was perfectly fine. Good sized screen, nice chairs, tasty popcorn. Everything else was disappointing. There are no outside signs making locating the cinema difficult without the use of the maps app. The cinema is over multiple floors and apart from a few posters near the initial ticket check in are entirely empty. No posters, art or anything to highlight the cinema experience despite more than ample room. I had my tickets ready to show on my phone. Rather than ask what film I was seeing the staff member took it up himself to start touching my phone to see the tickets which I thought was particularly rude. He was also rather poor at explaining the location of where the film was showing. The woman at the food area was super friendly and helpful.
